3 About Cleo Streem Cleo Streem is an interactive engagement solution that combines state of the art MFP and desktop fax technology with notification alerts via fax, , phone, or text. It s a completely scalable turnkey solution that allows both commercial and government organizations to send and receive information. 5 What's new in Cleo Streem 7.2 The Cleo Streem system now contains the following new features and enhancements: Cleo MFP integration with Cleo Unify and Trust Cleo Streem users can now scan paper documents into Unify with folder browsing and file naming, file format, and expiration options. Cleo Streem users can also use Trust to create secure messages and scan paper documents as attachments while allowing user to provide subject, recipient, and file format. My Fax Release Incoming faxes can now be held in queue for users. When an incoming fax is received, the user receives an alert informing him that a new fax document has been received and can be released at any Cleo-enabled Xerox MFP. The Cleo Streem MFP client for Xerox displays a list of these incoming, unprinted faxes and waits for direct user interaction to release the document when the user is physically present at the MFP. This helps reduce the risk of exposing personally identifiable information (PII) by printing on an unattended MFP and waiting for authorized users to retrieve it. Security enhancements System administrators can now restrict fax access for unauthorized users for MFP, Streem Print, and with a single security setting. Cleo Streem Print now includes HTTPS as a more secure alternative to FTP as the data transfer protocol between users desktops and the Cleo Streem Server. Enterprise enhancements Support for remote database connections The Cleo Streem system can now use a database that does not cohabitate with the Cleo Streem software on the same server. Note: Cleo best practices still highly recommend the use of a locally installed database on the Cleo Streem server for optimal performance. Simplified patching/update process You can now update the Cleo Streem server software without completely removing existing software first. Subsequent versions of Cleo Streem from 7.2 through 8.0 will support this method of patching and updating. Cleo-enabled MFP for Canon The Cleo MFP client for Canon is a new integration for Canon MEAP-enabled MFPs that allows a user to manually enter a fax destination and send a fax while receiving a printed confirmation on the MFP that the fax was successfully sent to the Cleo Streem server. Tags are no longer case sensitive. Improved error capture for missing or incorrect tags. Added an <Expires> tag. Cleo Streem now supports Microsoft Office 2016 and Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Cleo Streem can deliver confirmations to MFPs not connected directly to the network by ing a PDF confirmation to the MFP Updated paths used in replication setup scripts to support SQL Server 2012 and 2014 Fixed Issues Dialogic Work Processor: Updated for QSIG to use the same logic for called/calling number extraction used for ISDN. Removed tone detection disable before fax receive. In some instances this was causing an error to be written to the log - not supported for firmware state. Now correctly reports errors in the database, as opposed to error: unknown Now recognizes DID/CID properly when Streem is configured for multiple 1034 cards resizetiff.exe: Legal document check (height > 12.25") was using incorrect original page height. Original page height now takes into account original DPI (converted from dots per meter to dots per inch). Support bundle App: Fixed an issue where the bundling app would only bundle processor logs for the current day s work. It now bundles x days worth of logs, where x is the number of configured days (default is 2). Added styles folder under...\streemalert\help folder. Restored Template.csv under...\streemalert\help folder. Deleted TestCover.rtf from the \Streem\coverpages folder. Fixed syntax error in resend.py. This occurred only when lpr port is not set and we revert to ping for detecting machine status. The following services are set for Automatic (Delayed Start) startup mode: Work Processor Dialogic, and Work Processor FS. The following service is set for Automatic startup mode: Streem Center. The startup_all.cmd and shutdown_all.cmd scripts have been updated to only start or stop services that are installed. The name of the service being started or stopped is also displayed on the console now. 7 Cleo Streem 7 The Add User, Xerox Device, Save-to-Folder, Printer and FTP User pages now indicate required fields with an asterisk (*). Where * was used to indicate a special note, it has been replaced by. Restored reports folder under...\streemalert\reporting folder. Streem Print timezone issue is fixed. It now pulls timezone difference from System instead of hard-coded value of Streem Print Patch Utility now checks the version of Streem Print client the user is running.
