3 Overview CRA Wiz and Fair Lending Wiz HMDA Submission and Product Update (Build ) includes the following updates: Removes the below Loan amount and Income limitation from the Submission Wizard: Removes leading 0s and dashes from Respondent IDs in the 2017 HMDA.txt Submission file. Includes fixes to the Fair Lending Wiz Marketing (M6) report. Who should install This update is required for institutions using CRA Wiz and Fair Lending Wiz Version 7.3 or higher. Where to install This installation updates the build number so should be installed on both the SQL Server and Client machine(s). Note: If you applied the previous Fair Lending Wiz HMDA DF Update, the build number will remain at Prerequisites CRA Wiz and Fair Lending Wiz 7.3 or higher is required to install this update. Required permissions This installation requires writing and modification permissions, SQL server access, and registry modifications. Wolters Kluwer recommends that the user running the install have both Windows admin and SQL Server admin login credentials. Required free disk space 324MB (megabytes) Approximate install time 5 to 10 minutes 3

4 Installation To begin installation of the CRA Wiz and Fair Lending Wiz HMDA Submission and Product Update, follow these steps: 1. Download the update locally on the client or the SQL Server where you are peforming the upgrade. 2. Double-click the CRAWiz73Hotfix2.exe file and choose Run as Administrator. The installer displays the Welcome screen. 3. Follow the directions for each of the following screens. 4

5 Welcome Screen Click the Next button: The software displays the SQL Server Name screen. 5

6 SQL Server Name Screen You use the SQL Server Name screen to enter SQL Server and authentication information for the SQL Server running CRA Wiz and Fair Lending Wiz: 1. In the SQL server that you are installing to: field, do one of the following: Enter the name of the SQL Server to which you are installing the data: Click the drop-down arrow located at the end of the field to select the Database server from a menu list: 6

7 Click the Browse button: Then select the database server from the resultant dialog box: 2. Choose one of the following authentication options: Use Windows Authentication credentials of current user Use SQL Server Authentication using the Login ID and password below - If you select this option, you must also enter your SQL Server account User Name and Password in the User Name and Password fields. 3. Click the Next button. The software displays the Ready to Install screen. 7

8 Ready to Install the Program Screen You use the Ready to Install screen to begin the installation: Click the Install button. The installer displays the Setup Status screen. 8

9 Setup Status Screen The Setup Status screen displays a progress bar that reports the progress of the installation: When the installation is complete, the installer displays the Setup Complete screen. 9

10 Setup Complete Screen Note: To view a Windows log of the installation process, click the Show the Windows Installer log checkbox. When you exit the installer, Windows displays the log. Click the Finish button. Installation is complete. IMPORTANT: To confirm installation of the HMDA Submission and Product Update, refer to the following section, Confirming Installation. 10

11 Confirming installation To confirm installation of the HMDA Submission and Product Update, go to Help About CRA Wiz within the application and confirm the build numbers have been updated to as shown in the screenshot below. If you do not have access to a CRA Wiz and Fair Lending Wiz client application, below is a SQL Query that can be run to confirm the back-end version has been updated to use objectstore select value from dbo.properties where property='back-end version' Note: If you applied the previous Fair Lending Wiz HMDA DF Update, your build number will not be changed by the 2017 HMDA Submission and Product Update. As a result, another way to confirm the installation is to do the following: 1. Proceed through the Submission Wizard using a 2017 HMDA file that contains a loan amount greater than 100 million. 2. Confirm the software no longer displays the below message during the submission file creation process: 11
