7 1. EXgarde WEB EXgarde Web is a web based application that allows remote access to the basic controls of the EXgarde system with operator access being individually controlled from within EXgarde. Users are limited to the local domain the EXgarde system is connected to. Key features of EXgarde Web are: Add, Edit and Delete Keyholders Add, Issue and Delete Keys Run Fire, Event and Filo Reports View Live Events Access Door Control 04 June, 2015 Page 1

8 2. Install Prerequisite EXgarde Web will need to be installed on a computer with a valid installation of EXgarde V4.4. If you are installing EXgarde Web on a Windows 7 machine or a virtual client the following settings will need to be addressed. EXgarde Config settings COM Security settings Firewall settings If you are installing EXgarde Web on a Windows Server 2008 machine the following settings will need to be addressed. EXgarde Config settings COM Security settings Firewall settings Windows Server 2008 settings. 2.1 EXgarde Config Settings. To ensure EXgarde Web will connect to an existing EXgarde database you will need to run the EXgarde Config file as Administrator and check the connection information. To do this open the EXgarde directory and right click on EXgardeConfig.exe and select Run as Administrator Page 2 04 June, 2015

9 Install Prerequisite The fields indicated below will specify the Database server and the TCM Connections. These will need to correspond with the EXgarde Database and EXgarde License server connections. When you are satisfied that the connection credentials for EXgarde Web connections match the EXgarde Client Configuration connections, click on the close button. 2.2 COM Security settings In order for the EXgarde Web application to work, EXgarde Web needs to access the TCM files. For this to be done the following steps need to be carried out. Open the Control Panel and select Administrative Tools. 04 June, 2015 Page 3

10 Install Prerequisite In the new window open Component Services In the new window, select and open the Computers folder and then open the My Computer icon. Page 4 04 June, 2015

11 Install Prerequisite Expand the My computer icon in the left window and then expand the DCOM Config folder. Scroll down to the entry {DD92DDCA-D283-4D65-8D6E-49085A60D20F}. 04 June, 2015 Page 5

12 Install Prerequisite Right click on the entry and select Properties. In the new window select the Identity tab and click on the 'The launching user' radio button. Click Apply to confirm and then click OK to close the window. Scroll back to the top of the window and right click on the My Computer icon and select Properties. Page 6 04 June, 2015

13 Install Prerequisite Click on the COM Security tab in the new window to bring up the permissions. You will need to edit both of the permissions. Firstly select the Edit Defaults for Access Permissions 04 June, 2015 Page 7

14 Install Prerequisite In the Access Permissions window click on the Add button. Before you continue, ensure the 'From this location' is the same as the computer EXgarde is installed and running from. In the text box at the bottom of the window, type Network service and click check name to confirm then click OK. Page 8 04 June, 2015

15 Install Prerequisite As you will see, Network Service is now added to the Group or user names window. Check the Remote Access Allow check box and click OK. You will need to add Network Service to the Launch and Activation Permissions following the same process as previously mentioned. Select the Edit Defaults for Launch and Activation Permissions 04 June, 2015 Page 9

16 Install Prerequisite In the Launch and Activation Permissions window click on the Add button. In the text box at the bottom of the window, type Network service and click check name to confirm then click OK. Before you continue, ensure the 'From this location' is the same as the computer EXgarde is installed and running from. Page June, 2015

17 Install Prerequisite As you will see, Network Service is now added to the Group or user names window. Ensure the Local Launch and Local Activation Check boxes are ticked then click OK. Click OK to complete the process and close the window 04 June, 2015 Page 11

18 Install Prerequisite 2.3 Firewall Configuration The default IP ports on the PC EXgarde Web is been installed on will be blocked by Windows Firewall. The following steps need to be carried out for both inbound and outbound rules Search and open Windows Firewall with Advanced Security Select Inbound Rules from the left window and then select New Rule in the Actions window on the right to start the wizard Page June, 2015

19 Install Prerequisite When the Rule Type window opens, select Port and click next From the Protocol and Ports window, select TCP and in Specific local port enter the range in the Specific local Port box, or a specified IP port if changed from default then select next 04 June, 2015 Page 13

20 Install Prerequisite Select Allow the connection from the Actions window and click next If you are unsure which of the Profiles need to be selected in the Profile window contact your IT support. Page June, 2015

21 Install Prerequisite Finally, enter the name for the new rule and description if required and click Finish to complete the wizard You can check the new Inbound rule by re-opening the Windows Firewall and Advanced Security window. Repeat the Firewall Configuration steps for creating e a new Outbound Rule before running EXgarde Web. 04 June, 2015 Page 15

22 Install Prerequisite 2.4 Installing EXgarde Web on Windows Server 2008 The following actions will need to be completed before EXgarde Web can be run on Windows Server The first step will to open the Server Manager from the Administrative Tools menu and select Roles. Then from the main window click on Add Role Services Page June, 2015

23 Install Prerequisite From the Role Services main window select Static Content and IIS Management Console and click next. The next window to appear will confirm the two selected items will be installed. Click on install to continue with the installation. 04 June, 2015 Page 17

24 Install Prerequisite During the installation process a window will indicate the progress. The final window will confirm the installation has been successfully completed. Click the Close button to return to the Service Manager window. The next step will be running the EXgarde Web install. Page June, 2015

25 3. EXgarde Web Config Install There are three components that need to be installed before EXgarde Web can be run. EXgardeWebSetup EXgardeWeb,WebSetup ExgardeWeb.WebApiSetup When the EXgarde Web application is opened you will be presented with the following screen. 04 June, 2015 Page 19

26 EXgarde Web Config Install Before EXgarde Web is installed, it is advised that the Install Prerequisite help file is read first to ensure your machine has been configured to allow EXgarde Web work to is full potential. To run the EXgarde Web select the INSTALL EXGARDE WEB button in the center of the window. This will open another window with the three install options. The first install to be run is the EXgarde Web Config Install. The install wizard will open and assist you through the install. Click on next to run the wizard. Page June, 2015

27 EXgarde Web Config Install The next window you will be presented is the install location window. This will create a folder in the TDSi root folder within Program Files. This can be changed if required Once you satisfied with the location click the Next button to install the EXgarde Web Config files 04 June, 2015 Page 21

30 EXgarde Web Install The install wizard will open and assist you through the install. Click on next to run the wizard. EXgarde Web can be installed as either English or French. Click the radio button you require and then click Next to continue. Page June, 2015

33 5. EXgarde Web Api Install The final components to be installed is the EXgarde Web Api Install. The install wizard will open and assist you through the install. Click on next to run the wizard. 04 June, 2015 Page 27

36 6. EXgarde Web Config EXgarde Web Config allows the user to easily modify basic EXgarde Web settings to enhance user performance. The EXgarde Web application can be found at the location specified in the installation process. The application will need to run as administrator.. The EXgarde Web Configuration window consists of four options Page June, 2015

37 EXgarde Web Config 6.1 Site URL Settings When installing EXgarde Web, the settings contained within the Site URL Settings will be default set to the following. EXgarde Web IP Address - This will automatically take the IP address host machine EXgarde Web Port - This is default set to 8880, if this conflicts with a currently used port, the new port will need to be specified here. EXgarde Web API IP Address - This will automatically take the IP address host machine EXgarde Web API Port - This is default set to 8879, if this conflicts with a currently used port, the new port will need to be specified here. To update modified information click on the Update button then close the window to return to the main window. 6.2 Database Connection Settings This Information is automatically populated upon installation of EXgarde Web. The details should only be changed if the EXgarde Database is changed. NB If the EXgarde Database server or user details are changed, EXgarde Web will not automatically update, this will need to be manually change via the settings below. 04 June, 2015 Page 31

38 EXgarde Web Config To update modified information click on the Update button then close the window to return to the main window. 6.3 API Settings The API settings feature will allow you to change the URL connection to a specific address that may have been assigned a certificate or if you have multiple IP address on the server. Update This button will save any changes made to the API Config file Generate New Api Key Creates a new Api key in the database and in the Config file. Page June, 2015

39 EXgarde Web Config 6.4 Preferences The preferences window allows you to modify the default settings EXgarde Web uses. Default Language - This can be set to either English or French Default Key Type - This option will allow you to specify the default key type most commonly used by your EXgarde system, default will be set to Magnetic. Date Entry Format - This will allow the user to modify the order in which the date is displayed in EXgarde Web Login Timeout (minutes) - This can be set between 1 and 60 minutes. The default is set at 20 minutes To update modified information click on the Update button then close the window to return to the main window. 04 June, 2015 Page 33

40 EXgarde Web Config 6.5 Restart Site When all the modifications have been completed Click on the Restart Site button and close the EXgarde Web Configuration window. Page June, 2015

41 7. Running EXgarde Web Before EXgarde Web can operate to its full potential the following will need to be carried out. 7.1 Web User Rights To access EXgarde web, Users will need to ensure they have the appropriate rights. To check and or apply these rights open the System Settings tab in EXgarde and select Operators. Then choose the relevant Operator and click on the Properties tab. Then tick the Web User box as shown below and click Save. Page June, 2015

42 Running EXgarde Web 7.2 Connecting to EXgarde Web. To connect to the EXgarde Web you will need to first be connected to the intranet EXgarde is hosted on. You will also need to know the IP address of the web server. This can be found in the site URL settings of the EXgarde Web Configuration tool. EXgarde web is compatible with most browsers, however it is not compatible with Internet Explorer 8 or earlier. If you are running Internet explorer 9 or later the full IP address will need to be entered I.E Running From Client PC If EXgarde Web is being installed on an EXgarde client machine the following will need to be carried out in order for EXgarde Web to connect to the EXgarde Database. Firstly the IP address will need to match the EXgarde Server address. To do this run the EXgarde Web Configuration tool and select the Database Connection Settings tab. Page June, 2015

43 Running EXgarde Web Then check the Database Server IP address matches the EXgarde Server. This address can be found in the EXgarde Config Tool then Click Update. You will also need to check the API Url is present. If this need to be changed you will need to generate and update the API key, this is done via the API settings tab. 04 June, 2015 Page 37

44 8. Login To connect to EXgarde Web. input the configured IP address into the address bar followed by the port number. The login screen will appear and using the credentials used to login into EXgarde, fill out the required fields and click Login. Page June, 2015

45 Login When you are logged in you will be presented with the EXgarde Web home page. This has a navigation bar at the top of the screen and a window containing the main tabs to access the various features of EXgarde Web 8.1 Navigation bar The navigation bar will feature above whatever window you have accessed to provide the ability to navigate around the website without having to track back to the home page. 04 June, 2015 Page 39

46 Login 8.2 Main Window This is the home page of EXgarde Web and can be access from any page in EXgarde web via the Home button on the left of the navigation bar. The main features of the Home page are Keyholders - Contains 3 Wizards allowing Users to Add, Edit and Delete Keyholders Keys - Contains 3 Wizards allowing Users to Issue Keys, Delete Keys by Keyholders and Delete Keys by Key numbers Reports - Contains 3 Wizards to generate either FILO, Fire or Event reports Events - Allows the User to view Live Events that occur within EXgarde Door Control - Allows the Users to control Door access on all sites they have access to. 47 9. Keyholders EXgarde Web will allow users to add, edit and delete Keyholders in the same way you would in EXgarde via the Keyholders wizard. To do this select the Keyholders tab in the main window. Inside the Keyholders section of EXgarde Web are three options Add Keyholder - Adds new Keyholder Edit Keyholder - Edits existing Keyholder Delete Keyholder - Deletes existing keyholder. 04 June, 2015 Page 41

48 Keyholders 9.1 Add Keyholder To add a new keyholder to the database select the Add Keyholder tab. This will open the Add Keyholder Wizard. From here EXgarde Web will guide you through the process in the same manner as EXgarde. Additional information set up in EXgarde can also be accessed via the EXgarde Web when adding a new Keyholder via the Info 1-8 and 9-16 tabs. Once you have entered all the information you require click on the next tab to progress to the Access groups page. This page will allow you to add the new keyholder to the access groups already setup within EXgarde. You can also remove the access groups with the Remove button. Page June, 2015

49 Keyholders When the keyholder has been added to the required groups select the next button. The next step in the process is Issue Key. On this page you will be able to issue an existing key or add a new key to the system. To add an existing key, you can filter your keys depending on which keybox they are assigned to by selecting on the drop box labeled Filter By Key Box. If you do not have keyboxes setup within your EXgarde system, you can access the Select Available Key drop down box and select from the preloaded keys. 04 June, 2015 Page 43

50 Keyholders EXgarde Web will also allow you to add a new key to the EXgarde database. To do this, enter the new keycard number in to the Key_Number box then select from the Select Key Type drop down box. The default card type will already be set depending on your preferences specified in the EXgarde Web Config. If you have Keyboxes set up in your EXgarde system, you can select the appropriate box from the Select Key Box drop down box. When you are ready to add the new key to the system click on the Add New Key button. This will add the new key to the Keys to Issue. You will be presented with a notification under the Add New Key button informing you of this. Page June, 2015

51 Keyholders If you fail to add a key number and click Add New Key, you will be presented with the following message. When you have added you key or keys to the Keys to Issue box, click on the Next button to move to the summary page. 04 June, 2015 Page 45

52 Keyholders The final step in the wizard will summaries details of the new Keyholder. Click the Finish button to take you back to the Keyholders main page Page June, 2015

53 Keyholders 9.2 Edit Keyholder To edit a keyholder in the database select the Edit Keyholder tab. This will open the Edit Keyholder Wizard, this will allow users to edit existing keyholders within the EXgarde database. 04 June, 2015 Page 47

54 Keyholders To edit a specific key holder, click on the Keyholders name or enter it into the Search Keyholders text box and click on the Edit button. Page June, 2015

55 Keyholders The next step will allow you to add or remove the Keyholder from the Groups set up within the EXgarde database. If you do not need to edit this step, click on the Next button. To do this select the group for the Available Groups drop down box and click Add or highlight the group form the Members Of box and click Remove. When you have completed this step click on the Next button. 04 June, 2015 Page 49

56 Keyholders The next step in the wizard is the Edit Access Groups. If you do not need to edit this step click on the Next button at the bottom of the page. Here you can add or remove the Keyholder from the specified access groups in the Member of box in the same ways as the previous step. Click Next to complete this step. Page June, 2015

57 Keyholders The next step in the process is to add and Issue Keys to the selected keyholder. If you do not need to edit this step click on the Next button at the bottom of the page. On this page you will be able to issue an existing key or add a new key to the system. To add an existing key, you can filter your keys depending on which keybox they are assigned to by selecting on the drop box labeled Filter By Key Box. 58 Keyholders If you need to add a new key to the EXgarde database enter the new keycard number in to the Key_Number box then select from the Select Key Type drop down box. The default card type will already be set depending on your preferences specified in the EXgarde Web Config. If you have Keyboxes set up in your EXgarde system, you can select the appropriate box from the Select Key Box drop down box. When you are ready to add the new key to the system click on the Add New Key button. This will add the new key to the Keys to Issue. You will be presented with a notification under the Add New Key button informing you of this. Page June, 2015

59 Keyholders If you fail to add a key number and click Add New Key, you will be presented with the following message. You can add as many keys as you like to the new Keyholder and also remove the key from the list as well. To remove the keys, highlight the key in the Keys to Issue box and click on the back arrows at the bottom of the box. This will add the key back into the available key drop down box. 04 June, 2015 Page 53

60 Keyholders When you have added you key or keys to the Keys to Issue box, click on the Issue box at the bottom of the page to update the database, this will inform you of this with a Keys Assigned message above the Issue Key button. You can the click on Continue button to move to the summary page. The final step in the wizard will summaries details of the new Keyholder. When you have completed this step click on the Next button to return to the Keyholder home page Page June, 2015

61 Keyholders 9.3 Delete Keyholder To delete a keyholder from the database select the Delete Keyholder tab. This will open the Delete Keyholder Wizard, this will allow users to delete existing keyholders within the EXgarde database and mark their cards as available or delete them altogether. 04 June, 2015 Page 55

62 Keyholders To delete a specific keyholder, click on the Keyholders name or enter it into the Search Keyholders and the page will refresh to display the Keyholders details. At the bottom of the screen there are two option. Mark keys as available - This will delete the Keyholder and make the keys available on the system Delete Keys - This will delete the Keyholder and the Keys, rendering them unusable on your EXgarde system. When you have made your decision click on the Delete button. This will update the system and return you to the Keyholders Options page. Page June, 2015

63 10. Keys EXgarde Web allows users to add, edit and delete Keys in the same way you would in EXgarde via the Keys wizard. To do this select the Keys tab in the main window. Inside the Keyholders section of EXgarde Web are three options Issue Key - Issue a new Key to the database Delete Key by Keyholder - Delete the key from the Keyholder Delete Key by Key number - Delete key from the database. 04 June, 2015 Page 57

64 Keys 10.1 Issue Key EXgarde Web will allow users issue keys to keyholder stored on the EXgarde system. This can be done via the Issue Key Wizard in the Keys section of EXgarde Web. To issue a key select the Keyholder you wish to add a new key to and click proceed Page June, 2015

65 Keys The next step in the process is Issue Key. On this page you will be able to issue an existing key or add a new key. If you wish to add an existing key, you can filter your keys depending on which keybox they are assigned to by selecting on the drop box labeled Filter By Key Box. If you do not have keyboxes setup within your EXgarde system, you can select from the Select Available Key drop down box and select from the preloaded keys. EXgarde Web will also allow you to add a new key to the EXgarde database. To do this, enter the new keycard number in to the Key_Number box then select from the Select Key Type drop down box. 66 Keys When you are ready to add the new key to the system click on the Add New Key button. This will add the new key to the Keys to Issue. You will be presented with a notification under the Add New Key button informing you of this. If you fail to add a key number and click Add New Key, you will be presented with the following message. 67 Keys You will be informed that the Key number and type have been assigned to the database. You can then click on the Next button to move to the summary page. The final step in the wizard will summaries details of the new issued key. Click the Finish button to take you back to the Keys main page. 04 June, 2015 Page 61

68 Keys 10.2 Delete Key by Keyholder If you need to reassign or remove a key from a certain Keyholder, select the Delete Key by Keyholder wizard. The first step of the wizard is to select the Keyholder you wish to edit. This will bring up the keys assigned to that Keyholder. Page June, 2015

69 Keys At the bottom of the page are several options that can be applied to the various Keys the select Keyholder has. Available - This will make the selected Key available for re-issue and remove it from the list Delete - This will remove the Key from the system and will no longer be available for issue Lost - This will disable the Key from use and update its status to lost Damaged - This will disable the Key from use and update its status to damaged Suspended - This will disable the Key from use and update its status to suspended 04 June, 2015 Page 63

70 Keys Once you have selected the criteria needed for the specific Key, click on the Update button. This will either remove the Key from the list or update its status. Click the Finish button to take you back to the Keys main page. Page June, 2015

71 Keys 10.3 Delete Key by Key Number If you need to re-assign, update its status or remove a key from a certain Keyholder, select the Delete Key by Keyholder wizard. 04 June, 2015 Page 65

72 Keys The first step of the wizard is to select the Key Number you wish to edit. This will bring up which Keyholder the Key is assigned to and what status you wish to change it to. Available - This will make the selected Key available for re-issue and remove it from the list Delete - This will remove the Key from the system and will no longer be available for issue Lost - This will disable the Key from use and update its status to lost Damaged - This will disable the Key from use and update its status to damaged Suspended - This will disable the Key from use and update its status to suspended Once you have selected the criteria needed for the specific Key, click on the Update button. This will update the system and return you to the Keys main page. Page June, 2015

73 11. Reports EXgarde Web will allow users to access reports to either view or download. To do this select the Reports tab in the main window. Inside the Reports section of EXgarde Web are three report types. Filo Report - Generates a First In Last Out Report Fire Report - Generates fire report Event Report - Generates a report of all events. Page June, 2015

74 Reports 11.1 FILO Report The EXgarde Web First In Last Out Report display the first Access Granted per keyholder and the last access granted for that keyholder. To do this select the Filo Report tab in the main window. The EXgarde Web Filo report has three time scale options Today - This will give you a report up to the time the report is run Last 7 Days - This will display events from the last 7 days up till the report is run Period - This will allow the user to generate a report over a set period of days (Maximum specified in the systems options Event Log Control) Page June, 2015

75 Reports If you require filtering by a specific Keyholder, you can select how you would like the filter to work from the drop select the Keyholder from the drop down box and click on Get. This will generate the report with only the specified Keyholder. If you do not require any filtering, select the time scale you require, specify the amount of events per page and click Get. The report below will be generated You can also download the report as a CSV file viewable in Microsoft Excel via the Download button at the bottom of the page. The file will be save at the location C:\Users\TDSI\Downloads 04 June, 2015 Page 69

76 Reports 11.2 Fire Report The EXgarde Web Fire Report feature will allow the user to specify where the fire is to ensure the most accurate information can be displayed in an emergency To do this select the Fire Report tab in the main window. Page June, 2015

77 Reports The Fire report window will list all the access areas on the EXgarde system which the occupancy numbers in each area. To view a specific fire report, select the View option to the right of the relevant access area. You will also be able to download the report as a CSV file viewable in Microsoft Excel. 78 Reports 11.3 Event Report The EXgarde Web Event Report feature will allow the user view all or specific events that have occurred on their EXgarde system with the ability to apply various filters to obtain the information. To do this select the Event Report tab in the main window. The Event report window will open showing the filters available. Click the Show/Hide Filters to hide the filters if they are not needed. Also as with the FILO reports you can apply various time periods to you report. These time periods are. Today - This will give you a report up to the time the report is run Last 7 Days - This will display events from the last 7 days up till the report is run Period - This will allow the user to generate a report over a set period of days (Maximum specified in the systems options Event Log Control) Page June, 2015

80 Reports When generating a report you can specify the amount of events per page will be displayed by changing the amount in the Events Per Page box. When you are ready to generate the report click on the Get button. The report generated will be displayed with earliest event occur up to time the report is generated. You can also download the report as a CSV file viewable in Microsoft Excel via the Download button at the bottom of the page. 81 12. Events EXgarde Web provides the ability to view events as they happen in the EXgarde system with the Events page. Unlike the Events report feature, the live events will automatically refresh itself at specified intervals. To do this select the Events tab in the main window. The events main window provides the ability to set the auto-refresh rate, how many events are displayed and the facility to download the generated list. Page June, 2015

82 Events The auto refresh interval is set to 10 seconds as default, however this can be set to any value from 5 seconds to 60 seconds. If you do not wish for the page to auto refresh, remove the tick from the check box at the top of the screen. The Events Per Page is set to a default of 10 and can be set by the user to a value between 10 and 100 Click the refresh button to update the page when complete. The Live Events window will start to display the Events that occur on the EXgarde system and refresh itself a intervals specified by the user. You can also download the report as a CSV file viewable in Microsoft Excel via the Download button at the bottom of the page. 83 13. Door Control EXgarde Web provides the ability to release doors remotely via its Door control feature. This feature means that you do not have to be at the main EXgarde machine to control access on EXgarde controlled sites. To do this select the Door Control tab in the main window. The main door control window provides the ability to display all door on the system or options of filtering by Area or ACU. Page June, 2015

84 Door Control Within the main window is a smaller window containing all the doors on the system. To release to door, select the relevant door and click the Release button below the Window To release to door, select the relevant door and click the Release button below the window. 85 Door Control If you have multiple areas within your EXgarde system, the Door control feature will let you filter the various areas to ease operation. To do this select the filter by area radio button to enable additional filtering options. To select a specific area open the drop down menu and click on the required area. 04 June, 2015 Page 79

86 Door Control This will filter out all the doors that are not in the specified area. Select the door you wish to release and click the Release button to complete the operation. If you require the ability to filter by ACU instead, select the Filter by ACU radio button to enable additional filtering options The Filter by ACU drop down box will appear containing all the ACU's currently operation on your EXgarde system. 88 Alarms 14. Alarms EXgarde Web has the ability to display any alarm the may occur within EXgarde depending on weather you have alarms enabled within the EXgarde system. When an alarm does occur within EXgarde, the Alarms notification will pop up in the navigation bar as shown below. To access the alarms page, click on the Alarms icon. This page will display all alarms currently on the EXgarde system. Page June, 2015

89 Alarms The alarms page will display, Date/time Priority Alarm Zone Event Source Controlled by Step Action required It will also allow you to acknowledge the alarm or take control. If you choose to acknowledge the alarm, this will remove the red banner but not clear the alarm. If you choose to take control of the alarm you will be directed to the Process alarm page. The page will detail the steps that need to be carried out and a text box for the operator to enter a response. This Operator Response text box is for the user to add information regarding the action carried required, the default is set to 'Done'. To continue the process, click on the Apply button. This will clear the alarm and re-direct you back to the Alarms page. If you click the Release button, you will allow the alarm to become available for another user to take control and clear and will be redirected back to the Alarms page. When all the alarms have be cleared, the navigation bar will return to its normal status. 04 June, 2015 Page 83

90 15. EXgarde Web Troubleshooting EXgarde Web connection timed out. If you have entered the IP address of EXgarde Web site and receive a "connection timed out" massage, you will need to carry out the following steps. Check License sever EXgarde Web Client Connection Close all EXgarde applications and web browsers Stop the TCMClient.exe, Network Service connection from the Processes tab of the Task Manager Run the EXgarde Web config tool as Administrator and click on the Re-start Site button. Run License sever and re-connect to the EXgarde Web site If this does not resolve the issue restart the machine. Page June, 2015
