9 Chapter 2 Overview of the infisys RV-200 System Chapter 2 Overview of the infisys RV-200 System 2.1 System Overview The infisys RV-200 system is a permanently-installed vibration analysis system that can be used in machines ranging from a large-sized rotating machine supported by a sleeve bearing to a small-sized rotating machine supported by a ball bearing. This system provides various analysis functions as well as the graph drawing function required for ISO certified engineers to perform vibration analysis. This system consists of devices such as monitors and analyzers, which perform digital signal processing on the vibration waveforms detected by the transducer, as well as infisys View Station that collects and saves vibration data output from monitors and analyzers and displays the analysis results. infisys Remote Station allows users to perform analysis that are equivalent to those performed on infisys View Station by connecting to databases of infisys View Station via the network. However there are some settings that cannot be changed from infisys Remote Station, such as the transient setting and alarm setting. Change such settings on infisys View Station. The main characteristics of infisys Remote Station are summarized below. User interface with high operability You can display a graph by dragging and dropping from the graph tree. A variety of optional functions Diagnostic option Advanced analysis option 7

10 Chapter 3 Setup Chapter 3 Setup 3.1 infisys Remote Station Configuration This system consists of infisys View Station and infisys Remote Station. Various functions can be added to the system by installing additional optional programs. infisys View Station infisys Remote Station VM-773B infisys Analysis View Advanced analysis option Diagnostic option VM-774B infisys Remote View Diagnostic option Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 *1 VM-772B Device Config *1 To connect infisys Remote Station, client access license (CAL) for SQL Server is required. 8
