6 Software Requirements for Jedox Mobile Touch -6- Further notes: Supervision Server and Jedox SAP Connector don't have additional hardware requirements. Our hardware recommendations are limited to the basic use of our software products. For larger applications, we recommend the splitting of the processes (OLAP, ETL, Web) on several machines (see Jedox web configuration in our setup guide). For more than 500 CC, we ask for prior consultation of one of our experienced consultants. Please refer also to our Jedox OLAP Accelerator Factsheet, which can be downloaded from our website. The Jedox OLAP Accelerator can utilize CUDA-capable NVIDIA graphics cards as massively parallel co-processors for speeding up OLAP aggregations. Thus Jedox applications may achieve significant performance improvements. Jedox products also support virtual platforms, however, compared with a real hardware constellation, performance degradation can occur. The difference in performance must be checked in each individual case, since this depends on the application and on the given virtual platform. 3 Software Requirements for Jedox Mobile Touch Jedox Mobile Touch is supported on iphones and ipads with ios 6 or higher and on stock android and Nexus devices with Android 4.3 or higher. 4 Software and Hardware Requirements for Jedox Mobile Ad-Hoc Jedox Mobile Ad-Hoc ios version is supported on all iphones and ipads with ios 6 or higher. Jedox Mobile Ad-Hoc Android version is supported with Android 4.0 or higher and requires a display with at least 10 inches. OpenBI Server is necessary for access to Jedox OLAP Server. 11 6 Technical Reference 6.1 Information about software programming Jedox Web is written in C++, Java, PHP and JavaScript. Jedox OLAP is written in C++. Jedox ETL (server and client) is written in Java. Jedox Excel Add-In is written in C++ and C#(.NET). Technical Reference Limits of the Jedox OLAP Server 5.0 The number of objects with ID is limited by a 4 byte long unsigned integer. (This corresponds to 2 ^ 32 = 4,294,967,296 objects). The number of numeric values in a cube is limited to The length of all string values together in a cube is limited to characters (including terminating zeros). The length of all element names together in a dimension is limited to characters (including terminating zeros).
