1 TO: ALL FRANCHISEES, SALESPEOPLE, MOA & MPC STAFF DATE: NOVEMBER 2, 2012 Test Drive our Brand New MightyAutoParts.com Website & Zee SalesCenter Tech Central Portals We are pleased to announce that the launch of our new portals is almost here! That said we would like to invite you to test drive Mighty s new public-facing website and internal portals (see images below). The feedback we receive from your test drives will help us determine if we are indeed ready for an official go-live before the end of the month. Figure 1: New MightyAutoParts.com & Tech Central

2 Page Two For the next two weeks, we will have both the existing and new Mighty portals available for your use. You can test drive all of the applications that are available on the new portals with one exception: Forum. Forum is our new message board that is replacing MOLE II. The new Forum is live and active, so anything that you might post in Forum will remain (on the new portals) after we officially go live. Any data that you enter into all other applications (i.e. Reporting links like ESR, etc.) is test data and will be erased when we switch over to the new portals. NEW FEATURES Figure 2: New Zee Portal & SalesCenter To review, the new portals have been redesigned to be more intuitive and user-friendly. Some of the new features include: Updated look and feel Robust navigation Improved search New and dynamic content Social media integration And so much more to help support your franchise operations and sales initiatives!

3 Page Three BETA TEST We encourage you to test drive the new sites and to provide any feedback, such as site performance issues, broken links, or content issues. How to Test Drive: 1. Visit our development site at 2. Select Member Login located at the top right of the home page 2 3 Enter you current portal screen name & password 3 3. Enter your current portal access screen name and password and then select Sign In 4. Once signed in, you ll be taken to either the Zee or SalesCenter portal home page (shown below) depending on your permissions. 4

4 Page Four 5. You are now ready to test drive! Navigation to each portal is easy. Simply select the Go to icon located at the top right of your home page and select the portal you want to visit. 6. Click on the Mighty logo at any time to return to the main home page of each portal. 5 6 Click on the Mighty logo to return to the Home page. 7. 5 Page Five IMPORTANT NOTES Regarding Cookies: Please note that you cannot open or be in both the existing and new portals at the same time using the same browser application. However, you can switch between the existing and new portals by clearing your cookies. Use these resources for how to delete cookies for the following browsers: Internet Explorer Fire Fox Safari (Mac) Google Chrome Regarding Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) Compatibility: According to Microsoft Windows Support, Websites that were designed for earlier versions of Windows Internet Explorer might not display correctly in Internet Explorer 9. However, you can often improve how a website will look by using a feature called Compatibility View. Please see the following resource on how to turn on this feature in IE9.
