3 Overview KSH-6000 series, a manual insertion hybrid card reader functions a most popular three types of plastic cards -- magnetic card, chip smart card and SAM cards in a most compact size mechanism, which supports one ISO ID-1 size of plastic card and three miniature size of SAM cards. The unit is the best choice to be designed in reading single/dual/triple tracks of magnetic card, read/writing EMV/ISO7816 asynchronous(t=0 and T=1) and synchronous type of smart card in just one pass. via RS232/TTL interface, SKH600 is easy to be integrated into any systems which need one or more types of cards in the application. 4 Mechanical Specification Card Type Magnetic card reader can access single/dual/ triple tracks of magnetic card with track2 bit density 75 BPI, track1/3 bit density 210 BPI following ISO/DMV/AAMVA standard and 210 BPI following JIS II standard. The acceptable Coercivity of magnetic stripe is 300 Oe to 4000 Oe. Landing type slot IC card interface can read/write one ISO ID-1 size of smart card which follow ISO7816 /EMV specification and most popular synchronous memory cards. Three miniature size SAM cards interface can read/write SAM card which follow ISO7816/ EMV specification. 6 KSH Electrical Specification Power Requirement Voltage +5.0V D.C./ 0.2A Interface Level TTL level or RS232 level interface, additional RS232/USB converter is available.
