CROSS-BORDER AUTHENTICATION FOR ELECTRONIC SERVICES European Countries involved in this service: Enables citizens to access services in a secure way, by using their own electronic identity issued by their own country; the user is in control of her data, a high level of trust is generated and a more efficient service is provided; the pilot demonstrates that cross-border electronic services can operate in a number of European Countries. Austria, Belgium, Estonia, Germany, Iceland, Portugal,Finland, Lithuania and France. Visit the pilot:
