Key Benefits Advertising, Tracking and Monitoring section of the Creative Niche Manager provides you the tools to manage all of your advertising activities: Here are just a few opportunities you will get with the modules of Advertising, Tracking and Monitoring section: - Create and manage different types of ads - Measure your ads within a given period of time and see the best converting ones - See all your ad campaigns in one place and manage them easily - Track the referring URLs to see effectiveness of your ads, or SEO, or referrals base - Rotate ads and content on your sites - Optimize your advertising strategy based on the provided results - 5 -

Modules 2.1 Covert Conversion Pro Refer to the Covert Conversion Pro separate guide for the description of the module. 2.2 High Impact Ad Manager High Impact Ad Manager module with intelligent split testing and tracking allows you to create and manage different types of ads on your site: pop over ads, peel away, fixed ads and much more. The key benefit of the High Impact Ad Manager is the builtin intelligent split testing, which works like this: - you create ads using HIAM - you plug the ones you want into a split test - 6 -
7 And here is what you get: High Impact Ad Manager will measure all the selected ads within a given period of time and choose the best converting one, which is the one with the highest click-through rate. At the end of the test, the system will automatically select the winning ad. This will allow you optimize your advertising strategy and create more targeted campaigns. When you open HIAM, you will see a summary screen with the following information: At a quick glance you will see how many Ads you have running, the total number of Corner Ads, Slide-In Ads, and Fixed Position Ads. To get started with creating and managing your campaigns go to My Campaigns -> Manage section. To create your first campaign, click Create New Campaign link at the top of the table. You will see the following form: - 7 -
8 Here you need to select: Campaign Name: it will allow you to identify and manage your campaigns easily. Start Date and End Date (these fields are optional): if these are selected, the ad will run between the given date range only. After that, the ads will not be shown. If you do not select the start and end date for your campaign, the ads will run indefinitely. Ad Type: - Corner Ad - Slide-In Ad - Fix Position Ad 1) Corner Ad - 8 -
9 1.1 If corner ad is selected, you will need to choose if you want to select any of the stock images for your ad (with text like "Did you know!!!", "Earn $$$", etc), or upload your own image. 1.2 Then, you will select the corner ad position: top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right. 1.3 You can select to play sound with your ad or not. You will be able to select from a number of default sounds, or upload your own mp3 file. 1.4 Select whether to show ad on page load, or when user is leaving the page. 1.5 Enter the URL, where the user will be redirected when he clicks on the ad. 1.6 Select whether the above URL should be opened in the same or in a new window. 1.7 Select ad display mode: always or once per session
10 2) Slide-In Ad 1.1 If slide-in ad is selected, you can compose the content of your ad in a simple text or HTML format (using simple WYSIWYG editor). 1.2 Then, you will select the slide in position you can select a default position, or set it on your own. 1.3 You can select the background color for your ad, border style, border width and color. 1.4 You can also set background image you can select any of the default images, or upload your own image
11 1.5 Select whether to show ad on page load, or when user is leaving the page. 1.6 Enter the URL, where the user will be redirected when he clicks on the ad (this field is optional). 1.7 Select whether the above URL should be opened in the same or in a new window. 1.8 Select ad display mode: always or once per session. 3) Fix Position Ad 1.1 If a fixed position ad is selected, you can compose the content of your ad in a simple text or HTML format (using simple WYSIWYG editor)
12 1.2 Then, you will select the fixed ad position (top or bottom), and whether to add floating effect. 1.3 You can select the background color for your ad, border style, border width and color. 1.4 You can also set background image you can select any of the stock images, or upload your own image. 1.5 Enter the URL, where the user will be redirected when he clicks on the ad (this field is optional). 1.6 Select whether the above URL should be opened in the same or in a new window. 1.7 Select ad display mode: always or once per session. When you have defined settings for your campaign, click Submit. You will be taken to the Manage Campaigns page, where you will see a table with your campaigns: Here you can track number of impressions for each campaign, number of clicks, and campaign effectiveness. Also, you have the tools to Edit your campaign, Duplicate, or Delete it. Click on the violet circle icon to view the campaign code, which you can copy and paste onto the web page, where you want the ad to be displayed. You will also be given the code to paste on the Thank You page to track the effectiveness (clicks) of your ads. The script tracks the Date and Time, IP address, site URL, and referring URL for both clicks and impressions. The referring
13 URL is tracked to show you the effectiveness of ads, or SEO, or referrals, etc with respect to visitors. Split Tests Split tests allow you to manage and compare effectiveness among your ad campaigns. Go to Manage Split Tests section, and click Create New Split Tests link at the top to add a new split test: You will need to create a test name, select campaigns that you want to measure, select if you want to limit split test duration. You can limit test duration either in days split test will run, or in the number of hits a campaign will receive (e.g impressions for each campaign). If you choose to not limit your split test duration, it will be running until you manually terminate it in the Manage Split Tests section. Click Create to add your split test. You will see your created test in the Manage Split Tests section:
14 Here you will see the campaigns included into each split test, Split Mode, and Status. You will have the tools to Edit, Duplicate, or Delete your split test. Click if you want to terminate your split test. It will automatically select the winning campaign, based on the highest effectiveness. When a split test is over, the winning campaign will be displayed on your site. You can also see all details of your split test if you click split test. next to the completed In order to have the split test running on your website, click and copy and paste the provided code on your website. Note: when creating CNB, NVSB, or NCSB site in the Site Builder section of the Creative Niche Manager, you are able to select to display HIAD campaigns or split tests on any of your sites. 2.3 Campaign Optimizer This is a truly powerful module with NO COMPARISON on the market. The idea is to not only allow you to manage your ads and promotions easily, but also it helps you maintain your website and track your traffic with minimum efforts. This is achieved with the use of SNIPPET, which is basically a container with multiple parts into it. Those parts are automatically rotated when a call to the snippet is made
15 Content and Ad Rotation module performs the functions of: - Link rotation script - Content rotation script - Click tracking tool It tracks the clicks performed by users, and provides you the details on which links were clicked, etc. - Traffic tracking tool It tracks the user impressions for all of your content. - Active split testing script It optimizes its content automatically by displaying the highest converting ads. - Footprint remover By rotating some texts on your site, you will definitely remove all evidence of a template. For example, if all your articles are preceded by «Here is the article on...» text, you can now alternate this with as many other variations as you want: «Let us present you...», «Now what about a text on», «Please feel free to read our article on...». This can be done with Meta tags (keywords, description, title) of your site, and for any part of its content. You can even use Content and Ad Rotation module to change the color of the text, the format of a paragraph...no limits. - Centralized Content Management System You can create snippets and use them on dozens of different sites, for example, if you want to promote a given set of affiliate programs in your network of sites. It will take you seconds to change the content rotating on all of your sites with the use of this module
16 With all these extensive options, Content and Ad Rotation module can be used: to manage your ads, promotions, etc. to sell ad spaces to your visitors For this, you just add a part with the new advertiser link, or you add the link to an existing part of the snippet, where you already have links to advertisers. to rotate content (quotes of the day, articles, or any section with content on your site) to rotate small texts (title, keyword, description, footer) and remove any footprints to track your links to test your ads copy and automatically adjust your site to show the most converting ones to highlight some parts of your website For example, if you have a link on your website, and it is an important call to action, you can rotate the label of this link and see which one generates more interest. The ways you can use this module are limited with only your imagination. To create a snippet, follow Create New Snippets link, which you can see at the top of the Manage Snippets page: There you will see the following table, where you need to enter the Snippet Title and Description:
17 You can choose if you want to enable Intelligent Link Tracking. If it is enabled, the split testing script is activated. It will calculate the conversion rate of all the parts. For your reference: conversion rate is the number of clicks divided by the number of impressions. Then, it will automatically adjust the number of times each part is displayed according to its conversion rate. The higher the conversion rate, the more times that snippet part will be displayed. If Intelligent Link Tracking is not enabled, then each part of the snippet will be equally rotated and evenly displayed. Click to add the snippet to the system. Then, go to Manage Snippets page, where you will see a table with the added snippet with the following details: Snippet #: this is the snippet ID, generated by the system
18 Title: it shows the title you gave to the snippet. Description: the description you entered while creating a snippet is displayed here. # of parts: here you can see how many parts your snippet has. Date created: this is the date, when you created the snippet. Intelligent tracking management enabled: this displays whether you selected to enable Intelligent Link Tracking. # of impressions: this shows the number of user impressions for this snippet. # of clicks: this displays how many time users clicked the snippet. To the right of your snippet you have the following set of tools: Click to add a new part to the snippet:
19 Part is the content that will form the parts of the snippet and will be automatically rotated when the snippet is called. You can enter plain text into the snippet part, which is useful when adding PHP code or Javascript. Or you can enter HTML version, using WYSIWYG editor, which is convenient if you want to rotate text or links. Click Save to add the snippet part. You can continue adding more parts to the snippet. To edit the snippet details, click tool to the right of it. There you can edit the snippet title, description, and enable/disable Intelligent Link Tracking. Click if you want to delete the snippet. To duplicate the snippet, click. Duplicate tool allows you to create multiple snippets with just one click. Then, you can edit details for any of the snippets to change the title, description, and other details. To display the snippet on your site, click. It will open a different window and display the code that needs to be
20 inserted into your site, where you want the snippet to appear. Note: the page, where you insert the snippet code, must have.php extension. If you have enabled Intelligent Link Tracking for the snippet, the split testing script is activated. It will calculate the conversion rate of all the snippet parts. For your reference: conversion rate is the number of clicks divided by the number of impressions. Then, it will automatically adjust the number of times each part is displayed according to its conversion rate. The higher the conversion rate, the more times that snippet part will be displayed. You can set the snippet show-ratio, which defines, how many times the snippet parts are displayed according to their conversion rate, on the Settings page: Based on the experience, 4:2:1 show-ration works perfectly in most cases. For example, you have a snippet with 5 parts into it: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Parts 1, 2, 3 have a conversion rate of 0.7. The
21 conversion rate of part 4 is And part 5 has the conversion rate of The most converting parts 1, 2, and 3 will be displayed twice as much as part 4, and four times as much as part 5. Now, imagine that you have a section on your site where you promote affiliate programs. You create a snippet named, for example, boating affiliate programs. You create 10 parts to this snippet, each one with a given affiliate program, or with a given ad copy. You then copy this code to your site, and the system will automatically determine and display the ad that generates more clicks and, thus, more profit. All this is done automatically, and you don't have to analyze your conversion results, select the program, and change the page, the codes... If you have activated that snippet on 10 sites, then you have automatically your affiliate promotion for those 10 sites set up without any extra efforts. At any time you can reset the tracking figures and set them to 0, so that the system re-calculates new conversion rate and re-adapts itself. You can even create parts with multiple links inside them. The part with the highest CTR will be displayed more often than the others. In addition, you can get the details of which links within this part were the most clicked. You can also see from which site the visitor, who clicked the link, came from. So this is a true click tracking script that minimizes your efforts and maximizes your profit opportunities
