4 Built In Apps Base Apps are included and I have found to cover about 80% of what I needed (and thus never had to download) Software Can Be Installed Windows 7 or Windows 8 compliant I have installed some XP compliant items that were not supported but worked Can This Replace A Desktop/Laptop Main Items to Consider 128GB drive very tight on installation and storage IF you have too much software or data The Surface is not an Intel Core I7 processing if heavy processing speeds needs, Surface might not cut it 4 GB RAM (many laptops and desktops at 8, 12 or 16 GB RAM) Monitor size when using solo 10 screen on the Surface Surface Pro can be a replacement you need to decide Kevin Martin, 4

5 If Replacing a Desktop Items To Buy Bluetooth Keyboard Mouse and Surface Wedge Mouse is built for it Video Cables for your office Power Supplies Total cost could be $150 of supplies If Complimenting Your Desktop This is my approach 17 Laptop when on the road Dual Monitor at the office and home Windows Mobile Phone Outlook 365 (Exchange on the Cloud) Productivity Gain for me has been ½ hour per day, everyday. Much better use of my down time and travel time Windows 8 and 8.1 My experience (since 11/2012) on Windows 8 and 8.1 has been well worth it.
