7 Key Updates for Service Paper Feed Improvements Tray lift feeding, new sensors, modular pick assembly, tray separator roll assembly, flushing, redesigned multipurpose feeder mechanism 2-Piece Supplies Toner cartridge and imaging unit are separate and will be replaced individually Non-Continuable Stops Upon exhaustion of the toner cartridge or imaging unit, the printer will come to a hard stop and will not print until the exhausted component is replaced Supply Life Messaging Supply life warnings have changed and the user will receive detailed information when a supply is near exhaustion

8 Key Updates for Service Error Code Convention Changes Some primary and secondary error codes have changed to add consistency to Lexmark error code conventions Belt Fuser Each product in this series will now utilize a belt fuser Fuser Return Program The fuser will be offered as a return program part Enhanced User Messaging Users will receive more detailed and graphical instructions when an intervention is required Galvo Laser (old) to Polygon Laser (new) EC Change In May 2015, certain models were switched to a polygon printhead and a matching new controller board. The affected models are: MS415, MS510, MS610, M1140, M1145, M3150, MX310, MX410, MX510, MX511, MX610, MX611, XM1140, XM1145 and XM3150.
