1 Part 2: Completing an application via SRCF s online grant platform 1. Go to the homepage at or access the link via and selecting Application Materials under the heading for the grant you wish to apply for. 2. Click Login in the upper right corner of your screen. 3. Fill in the fields on the left side of the screen with your account information and click Login 1

2 4. On the next screen ensure that the tab Search is selected and click on the View All Grants button on the right side of the screen. Word of Caution: Do not use your Back button on your browser throughout the use of this platform, but rather the links and/or tabs on the top of the page to navigate. 5. After selecting View All Grants, you will see all grants that are currently available via Shasta Regional Community Foundation. You can view more about each grant opportunity by clicking on the View More link. 2

3 6. Once you have found the Fund for which you would like to apply for grant funding, click on the Apply link on the right side of the screen. 7. Please answer all prequalification questions. Answer the questions according to your organization by selecting one of the radio buttons after each question. Once you have answered each question, press the Submit button. 3

4 ***If your organization meets the requirements for the grant opportunity, you will be directed to the application materials. If your organization does not meet the requirements for the grant opportunity, a screen notating such information will be displayed. *** 8. Upon approval, the following screen will allow you to submit the required application information. Please be sure to carefully review the *Grant Application Checklist and have all the documents ready to upload. Word of Caution: The system WILL TIME OUT AFTER 15 MINUTES be sure and SAVE YOUR WORK REGULARLY 4

5 9. You may preview the application by clicking Choose Action and selecting Preview Application from the drop down menu on the right side of the screen. 10. Once you select the Preview Application option, you will see the application in its entirety. A preview of your application will pop up in a new tab or window titled Application Summary. You may print the blank form for your information by selecting the Printer Icon in the upper right corner and following the printing instructions as they pertain to your system. You may also right click and select the print options. Please note, no hard copy applications will be accepted. 5

6 11. To return to the online submission system, simply navigate to the previous tab or window which should read Shasta Regional Community Foundation and close the.pdf. 12. You may start the submission process by selecting the first section icon Organization Information or any other icon. 6

7 13. Complete each field as directed. 14. Should you need to step away from the application at any time, you MUST save the information you have entered and return to it at a later time using the SAVE or SAVE AND RETURN TO DASHBOARD option. Word of Caution: The system times out after 15 minutes so it is important to save your work regularly, even if you haven t fully completed a section. 7

8 15. Please note the yellow box which reads application pending. If the required section does not show 100% you have missed a required question(s) in that section. Helpful Hint: Some fields allow for a maximum number of words. As an applicant, do your best to be concise but tell the complete story. Helpful Hint: Some requests require an upload of a document and the required format may be one of the following (Microsoft Word.doc or.docx; Microsoft Excel -.xls or.xlsx; or Adobe Acrobat.pdf; or Various Picture formats=.jpg or.jpeg) Please be sure to all of the uploaded documents are set using a 8.5 x 11 page in a portrait orientation. 8

9 16. Once a section is complete, it will read 100% as shown below. Once all sections read 100%, select the button in the top right corner of the screen Final Review and Submit. During this step, you will have the opportunity to review and print your completed application.: 17. A window will pop up advising you that you will NOT be able to update your application once it has been submitted. Please click continue with review to reach the next step in the submission process. 9

10 18. A preview of your application will appear. REVIEW EACH SECTION CLOSELY. If something appears incorrect, you may select the Cancel and Exit option and return to the section to make a correction. You may print the completed form by selecting the Printer Icon in the upper right corner and following the printing instructions as they pertain to your system. You may also right click and select the print option. *BE SURE AND PLACE A CHECK IN THE BOX CONFIMRING YOU HAVE REVIEWED YOUR APPLICATION BEFORE SUBMITTING. Word of Caution: You will not be able to access your application to make changes once you submit. Be sure the information you are ready to submit is complete and accurate. Print 10

13 **If everything IS CORRECT, place a check mark in the box at the bottom of the screen and then click Submit 19. You will know your application has been fully submitted when you have reached this screen and an notification is sent to the address associated with the log-in. Please allow weeks for review. **If you have logged out of your application and need to re-enter the system, please log in as described above and select the My Application tab as shown below. You will see your application information listed.
