20 Transportation Security Program Developing technologies and concepts of operation to screen: passengers carry-on baggage checked luggage cargo mass transit venues Improving screening by: increasing conventional and HME detection effectiveness, minimizing false alarms, and increasing systems throughput while reducing overall operational cost Understanding and mitigate explosive damage effects through development of M&S and live fire testing Providing customer with tools, techniques and knowledge to better understand, train, utilize canines for explosive detection
