4 How much does CAC cost? There is no cost to use CAC. CATERPILLAR APPS COMMUNITY (CAC) Are there specific devices or products CAC is compatible with? Currently CAC is available for Android and ios devices. Availability on windows devices is being planned. Android version supported is API Level 10 i.e. Android and Will the CAC be in multiple languages, and what will they be? CAC is currently available in English only. How many releases will be made available each year? CAC is continuously being enhanced. As and when new features are available CAC will be updated. Can I use CAC if I don t have an internet (Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G LTE) connection? No, you need to be connected to Internet/Wi-Fi to use CAC. Can I use CAC with Low bandwidth (2G connections)? Yes, you can download and use CAC in Low Bandwidth. However, CAC works best with strong internet connection. How can I resolve Unable to connect to the server error message? Make sure you get strong network connectivity in the mobile device and the date/time zone is correct. 5 What should I do if installation takes too long to complete? Make sure you are able to get strong network connectivity in the mobile device. Works best with 3G/4G, ISP over WIFI. Whom should I contact if there is an issue with Mobile Apps installed via Caterpillar Apps Community? Please contact concerned Application support team for any help. Application contact information is available in the more information section of every application. Did you Forgot your Password? Click on Forgot your password link in the Login page & enter CAC id. Password will be sent to your id. How do I change my password? Click on Change Password button under MyInfo and submit the form to reset password.
