How to use Mold EX-Press in SolidWorks By three-step selection, the 3D drawing of the part can be configured and placed directly into the CAD by seamless connection with SolidWorks. 3 Complete parameters for the basic size. 1 Display the [Home] from SolidWorks menu, and select the product category. 4 Click Next. 2 Select the product shape with scrollbar on the upper-left image (Selection of the basic shape). 5 Position the part as per SolidWorks method. 17

How to use Mold EX-Press in AutoCAD 3 By three-step selection, the 2D drawing of the part can be configured and located directly into the CAD by seamless connection with AutoCAD. 1 Display the Home for product model selection. Complete parameters for the basic size. [Key point] Click [Next] to generate the 3D drawing after confirming the shape and parameters 4 Select the product layout view as per the product requirements, such as 3D view. 2 Select the product shape with scrollbar on the upper-left image (Selection of the basic shape). 5 Configure the part in CAD. 18

Exporting 3D drawing in intermediary format If you don t have CAD other than AutoCAD, Pro/E or Solidworks, the DWG, DXF, IGES, STEP, SAT and PARASOLID formats can be exported from Mold EX-Press so that they are compatible with the various 2D and 3D design software. First, set up the file name 1 rule, intermediary format 3 to output and path of a folder to save CAD files. Click the export the drawing. to 2 Complete the parameters and click 3D view to switch the tab. 4 The drawings are saved as specified in Model Output CAD Setting. 19

The operational method below shows the procedure in the presence of NX. 3 From Pro/E tool bar, select a command to open the folder. 1 Select the part in Product Configuration page and export it in intermediary file. 4 Select the format of the required part to import. 2 The model is saved in several types of format in a folder you specified beforehand. The drawing is available in DWG, DXF, IGS, STP, SAT and PARASOLID format. 5 The file is imported successfully and the part model is displayed. 20
