Cougars are known for speed and versatility and the Matrix Vision mvbluecougar-xd is no exception. This dual Gigabit Ethernet camera family is the smallest in its class. The large powerful FPGA allows pre-processing steps inside the camera and allows the user to control the camera processing and reduce the load on the CPU of the host system. For the first time it is possible to use a high speed buffer mode which writes the images faster in the cameras memory as they are transferred. Cameras are available with either CMOS or CCD sensors in various resolutions ranging from 648 x 488 pixels to 3388 x 2712 pixels and at speeds of up to 600fps. Look no further for a GigE Vision camera at a very competitive price New GigE Vision PoE and PoEHS Series from Sentech Reliable, Compact and Machine Vision Ready The Sentech GigE Vision family of cameras has grown to include new PoE (Power over Ethernet) and PoEHS (HighSpeed) models alongside the Standard and PowerPlus (with Xilinx based user FPGA) models. Featuring colour and monochrome CCD sensors in resolutions from VGA to UXGA (2MP), they can perform at speeds from 20 of up to 122fps or 12-bit output is available, while the 6-pin Hirose connector handles Trigger and I/O signals. RGB Lighting Systems from DCM Sistemes for machine vision applications RGB lighting systems are more flexible then monochrome lighting and can easily adapted for different colour related applications. The colour of light is one of the five factors affecting lighting. Depending on its

2 colour, we are able to group the light in monochromatic light, white light or RGB light. Each of these three groups contributes different characteristics which allow the user to tailor the light for inspecting different objects. The RGB colour model is based on additive synthesis (the system in which the three primary colours together produce a white colour). With this synthesis it is possible to represent a colour by mixing of the three primary light colours red, green and blue. Normally used with monochrome cameras to change the contrasts between colours present in the object or RGB cameras to generate structured light colours, it very useful in applications such as weld inspection or to adjust colour temperatures. Up until now they have carried out nearly 1,300 different lighting studies. EPIX have launched software for supporting Windows 8 XCAP/XCLIB V3.8 has been released. This new version adds support for Windows 8 32/64 bit. This release also supports Linux using 3.x kernels. A XCLIB-Lite for 64 bit Windows has been added. So there is XCLIB-Lite for 32 and 64 bit Windows but not for Linux. Also please note that the 32 bit versions of XCLIB & XCLIB-Lite for Windows NT, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8 and the 64 bit version of XCLIB & XCLIB-Lite for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 are now bundled together with a new XCLIB-WIN or XCLIBLITE-WIN. 4 Non Contact Laser Sensors These sensors measure and detect object position, dimensions, surface profiles, deformations, vibrations, sorting and sensing presence or absence. Laser triangulation sensors also measure the levels of liquids and bulk materials. The series includes four lines of models: RF603 - universal sensors with 2 to 1250 mm operating ranges, RF603HS - high speed sensors, RF600 - large-base and long range sensors, RF605 - compact value sensors. Eldim appoint ALRAD as partner in the UK for 2013 French company ELDIM is a manufacturer of cooled digital cameras, video photometers, colorimeters, and inspection systems. These systems are used by flat panel display, communications, and scientific companies worldwide as part of their R&D and manufacturing quality control processes. Originally founded in 1991 ELDIM is located in Herouville Saint Clair, France; in 2 buildings of 1000 square meter each including a large clean room for optical system assembly. For internal needs, ELDIM manufactures optics in the visible range in all forms but cylinders and free-forms. For customers, ELDIM s core business is focused on manufacturing spheres, aspheres and windows up to mm diameter, in both visible and IR ranges; proprietary processes have led to the development of an impressive capability for processing silicon, germanium or ZNS windows. VS Technology VS-TC Series Telecentrics VS Technology is a Japanese company specializing in high-end Industrial Lenses and LED Lighting Systems for machine vision applications. A substantial proportion of the lens range comprises Telecentric Lenses.
