Excellence Through Innovation Info@yylabs.com CID Camera instant Display/ Optical Beam Profile AnalyzerInstruction V1.0 This Lab Camera instant display/ optical beam profile analyzer is an ARM based portable plug & play solution for a digital Lab USB based Camera. It displays the video image from the lab camera on any screen with an HDMI input port(vga input is also available with a HDMI to VGA convertor). This digital solution can provide a better resolution than a traditional RCA analogue monitor. It also equipped with a virtual control panel, the customers are able to save pictures and apply analysis on the video image data. The unit provides 2D and 3D image display, give optical intensity readings for whole measured area. The C-mount is used for user to adapt their lens to fit into their microscope, or the user can also use a UVC (USB video device Class) based camera, such as Amscope USB series cameras directly observe the target. The camera has to be connected to the controller, otherwise, the software will not be able to open.connect the keyboard and mouse with the rest USB ports of the controller. Fig.2 2). Please note, the gray degree shown in the picture is only proportional to the optical intensity, user needs to calibrate with a known optical source to obtain the optical intensity received by the profile analyzer. From the calibration, the user can find the right coefficient to input into the display setting window Intensity Coff to

Please make sure the value is less than 255 in order not to saturate the camera. Same as position axis. You can press the Data Save button to save the current data on the GUI to the local storage, and system will automatically create a folder named with the current system time inside the Image Save folder in home directory. And the folder contains two parts, one is the original gray degree picture of the current frame in.jpg, and the other is the.csv file which includes all the intensity and pixel values of the current frame. 9). And the file dialog will show as Figure 11, you can pick the picture from the sub folders, and when the picture is shown on the GUI, you can do the same operations as described above.

If the system is not going to be used in short time, please shut off the power supply, or unplug the power cord from the controller. Notes: Fig.12 1.

If the system is going to be used in short time, just press the push button on the controller for two seconds, the software will be reopened. If the system is not going to be used in short time, please shut off the power supply, or unplug the power cord from the controller. Notes: Fig Double click the "YYLabs_Beam_Profile", if the software is opened as above mentioned, it means the software works normally; otherwise, the camera may not be connected with the controller, please check the connection of the Control Board and Camera Board. 2. The software cannot be open twice or more simultaneously. If click the YY Labs beam profile icon after the software is open, the camera will no work correctly. The software has to close and please reconnect the camera, then restart the software.

10 P a g e Please do not disconnect the camera and the board when the software running, otherwise, the camera will not work. If you happen did it, please close the software and re-run it.
