The cameras are set one looking back like a rear view mirror and one camera looking down at the reversing area. The camera looking backwards the power would be taken from the ignition feed of the vehicle and the video into AV1 of the monitor. The camera looking down would be powered from the reverse feed of the vehicle, with the trigger wire attached to the reverse feed also. This camera would then be plugged into AV2 of the monitor. 4

12 PSC17 - PSC30 - PSC33 These have built in LEDS the power will be picked up from the brake light feed at the rear of the vehicle, to power the lights when the brake is applied. PSC14 - PSC17 - PSC29 - PSC30 - PSC33 To power the camera, pick up the reverse feed, the camera will then switch on when reverse feed is applied. Plug the video feed into the AV channel on your monitor 12

13 Monitor Installation All our cameras and monitors are designed for universal fitting for a variety of uses. In the above diagram we have a positive feed, ground and reverse wire. The reverse wire is not always used, and depends on the type of installation you are doing as well as how many cameras you will be fitting. The purpose of the reverse wire aka trigger wire is to tell the monitor which screen you would like to view when you perform an action on the vehicle. General reversing camera, 1 camera install In a 1 camera install, you would always connect the positive feed to the reverse feed, the ground wire to a new ground point and the camera would plug into V1 aka channel 1, and never connect the reversing wire / trigger wire The camera power would also be picked up from the reverse feed. When you put the vehicle into reverse, both the monitor and the camera power up. 13

14 General 2 camera install ( 1 camera as a reversing camera) In a 2 camera install, you would connect the positive feed to the ignition, the ground to a new ground point, the trigger to the reverse feed. The reversing camera to V2 and the camera which will always be on, when the vehicle is not in reverse to V1. When you start the vehicle the monitor will power up displaying the V1 camera, when you put the vehicle into reverse, a signal is sent up the trigger to tell the monitor to switch to the V2 (reversing) camera. When the vehicle is taken back out of reverse, the monitor will then vert back to V1. Some monitors have more than 1 trigger wire, the trigger wire does not always have to be connected to the reverse feed, these could be switches, indicators or canbus speed controls. 14

17 PS006 & PS043 General installation 1. Connect the red wire to the reverse feed 2. Connect the black to ground 3. Plug the camera into the yellow phono plug 12v Only - if your vehicle is 24v please use a dropper 17

18 PS007 White Av1 Yellow Av2 If you are installing 2 cameras, Av2 will override Av1, when the power has applied to the 2nd camera, the monitor will automatically switch to Av2, when the power is disconnected the monitor will revert to Av1. Av2 will override Av1 Up Menu (Press menu to cycle through the options) Down 12v Only - if your vehicle is 24v please use a dropper 18

Plug the camera into the V1 phono plug Installation 2 camera s 1. Connect the red to the ignition feed 2. Connect the black to ground 3. Connect the green to the reverse feed 4. Plug the reverse camera into V2 phono plug and the normal camera into V1 White audio plugs are available if the camera and monitor support the audio function 12-24v monitors are fitted with a dropper, which converts 24v to 12v, Please do not remove the dropper 19

20 PS v Ground Video 1 Audio 1 Trigger 1 Video 2 Audio 2 Trigger 2 Video 3 Audio 3 Trigger 3 Video 4 Audio 4 Trigger 4 Trigger Delay - In the menu you can set the trigger delay, when power is passed through the trigger wire, it will display that channel on the screen, when the power is taken away, the screen will revert back, you can set the time it takes to revert back to the original screen. Mode Button - You can change the screen layout, depending on how many cameras you have installed, 4 split screen, side by side, 3 screen split or single screen. When using the trigger wires, this will display the image in full screen, and revert back to the layout set. 20
