5 1.2. What you need to start To setup your Brainium project, you need: A gateway - An ios phone or tablet (at least ios10) - Or an Android phone or tablet (BLE compatible with at least Android 5.0) - Or a Raspberry Pi 3+ A browser to operate the Brainium portal - Chrome, Safari or Edge 5

6 2. Set up your account 2.1. Sign up to the Portal Go to and follow account creation process Download your gateway application For Mobile Gateway: For Raspberry Pi Gateway: 6

7 2.3. Set up your Gateway You have successfully installed Brainium gateway. Now log in to your Gateway application with the same credentials than the one you ve created on the portal. Go on the web portal, On Gateway tab to see and rename your gateway 2.4. Associate your Agile to your Gateway To securely connect your Agile to your gateway you need to associate them through the Brainium portal: On Gateway tab, select +, in Devices column, to connect Agile devices: Ensure that your gateway s Bluetooth settings in ON, that Agile device is ON (blue LED blinking, see how to turn it on here) and close to your gateway. On ios, ensure the Gateway app is in foreground (no lock screen, no phone calls) On Android, ensure location service is ON for the discovery function. 7

8 Wait 10s to see your Agile in the list: Select it and select Connect. You need to wait 30s for the secured tunnel to set up. You can now see the connected Agile on your Gateway app. On web portal on the Devices tab, your device is available. Please note that you need BLE enabled on gateway side, but no direct Bluetooth pairing from your gateway will work, as you need a secured tunnel. You can only connect through the Brainium Web Portal. 8

9 3. Quick Tips 3.1. Understand your Agile 3.2. Turn ON/OFF your Agile Long Press during 2s on the button until LED is blinking, will turn on Agile. Long Press during 2s on the button, until LED turned off, will turn off Agile Charging your Agile To charge your Agile, plug your USB-C cable on Agile, and charge it on your PC USB port or on an USB adaptor. LED is red while charging, and green when battery is fully charged Update your Agile When your Agile is connected, you can see its firmware version under Devices tab on the Portal. If you need to update your Agile to get the most updated firmware, you will see a green download sign under state. Click on it and wait for remote firmware update of your Agile device until you get the message Device successfully updated. 9
