Roadnet also tracks actual usage of mobile devices in the field. Mobile devices listed as Preferred have gone through Roadnet Certification test and have broad customer usage with no or few reported device issues. Mobile devices, listed as Average, Fair, or Supported - Limited Implementation*, have at a minimum gone through Roadnet Certification testing. Then, based on quantity of devices in the field, as well as success of customer device usage, mobile devices may change in their listed level of Roadnet support. For further definition on the various support categories, please see the top right column for details.

Average Certified devices with broad customer field usage; field performance has been good or neutral. Fair Certified devices with broad customer field usage; field performance has been inconsistent. Roadnet can t guarantee the following regarding unsupported devices and how they interact with MobileCast, On Track or RNA Mobile: GPS connectivity, GPS accuracy, GPS frequency, network coverage, hardware and application performance.
