4 OVERVIEW Associated Bank Online and Mobile Banking overview Welcome to Associated Bank Online and Mobile Banking. Please read through the detailed information included in this guide to learn about the various features of both products. What s new? Bill pay in a snap,¹ using your smartphone camera to quickly add a new biller. Real time alerts and push notifications. Person-to-person and account-to-account payments. What information will be converted from my existing system? Transaction history. estatements and preferences. Bill pay billers and scheduled/recurring payments. Transfers scheduled/recurring. What information will not be converted? Notifications/alerts will need to be re-created after conversion. Bill pay history list of any bills you have paid in the past. Please be sure to retain any bill pay history from your existing system if needed. Third-party connections (QuickBooks, Mint) Please update your user name and password in these systems to ensure that the information can be accessed in the Associated Bank online banking system. 1. Our standard bill payment service, found within online and mobile banking, is free, up to your available balance. Some add-on services within the standard bill payment service have service charges. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions of the Bill Payment Service and the Consumer Deposit Account Fee Schedule for details. 2. Associated Bank Mobile is available for personal accounts. Associated Bank does not charge a fee to use our mobile banking and text banking services. Message and data rates may apply. Check your carrier plan for details. 5 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Frequently asked questions About your transition to Associated Bank Online and Mobile Banking Where can I find my temporary password? Your temporary password will be sent to you in a separate mailing in mid-june, just before the transition to Associated Bank (if applicable). When will the transition occur? The online and mobile banking transition is scheduled to take place during the weekend of June 22 24, Associated Bank s online and mobile banking will be available beginning June 25. How can I access my account after the transition? Once the new system is available, you will need to update your password and security questions as well as set up multi-factor authentication for improved security. You will also need to download a new mobile banking app. If I have multiple user names for online banking, will I be required to re-enroll separately? Yes, you will have to re-enroll under each of your user profiles. When re-enrolling, you will use the temporary password that was sent to you via mail to sign in to each profile (if applicable). Where can I find help on how to re-enroll? Watch our re-enrollment videos and instructional demonstrations by visiting AssociatedBank.com/ BankMutual and following the links. Also, a Quick Start Guide will be included with the temporary password you will receive mid-june. When is the online and mobile banking outage? As of June 22, online and mobile services will no longer be available as account information transitions to Associated Bank. On June 25, you will have access to your account information at AssociatedBank.com once you complete the re-enrollment process. Existing transfers and direct deposits you have scheduled will continue as planned. What do I have to do before the online and mobile banking outage? Prior to Friday, June 22, be sure to schedule any necessary bill payments and transfers in online or mobile banking before the system becomes unavailable. Once the conversion is complete, your information will be accessible when you re-enroll in Associated Bank s online banking. What if I need to perform a transaction during the online and mobile banking outage? ATMs at Associated Bank and remaining Bank Mutual locations will be available. Bill pay How will bill pay be affected by the transition? If you utilize bill pay, please note that the billers, scheduled and recurring payments you currently have set up in the system will transfer to Associated Bank. However, your historical payment information will not convert. Please make a note to save your bill pay history of past payments prior to conversion. If you are new to bill pay, once you have enrolled in the new online banking system, you can start by clicking on Bill Pay from the Associated Bank Online Banking menu bar. 6 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Bill pay (cont.) Will the transition to Associated Bank impact any automatic payments or transfers I have set up? No. Your existing automatic payments and transfers will convert to the new system and you will not have to re-enter them. Mobile banking¹ What features does Associated Bank Mobile include? Associated Bank Mobile enables you to do the following: Sign in with your fingerprint. Add new billers with your mobile device s camera. Use Instant Balance to view your account balance without signing in. Manage the push notices (alerts) you receive on your mobile device (text and alerts will still be managed in online banking). Online banking² What features does Associated Bank s online banking include? Along with many of the features you have today, you can look forward to an intuitive look and feel as well as tools to help you manage your accounts: Access to account information, including pending transactions, credit card balances and up to three years of account history. Multi-factor authentication for greater security a feature that confirms your identity via phone call or text message (based on your preference). Real-time alerts. Other questions Who do I talk to if I have more questions? You can visit us at your nearest Associated Bank location or call our 24/7/365 Customer Care team at Will I still be able to use the mobile banking app? No. Once the transition to Associated Bank is complete on June 25, the app will no longer work. You will need to delete the app and download the Associated Bank Mobile app to your device. Will I be able to enroll in mobile banking only? Yes, you will be able to enroll in mobile banking only from your mobile device. 1. Associated Bank Mobile is available for personal accounts.
