In the meantime, our inspection body for pipe systems is represented with its testing and quality assurance in 30 countries all over the world, ranging from Europe via the Middle and Far East up to the USA. We are also available at short notice for training courses, expert reports and assessments. SKZ is Europe s largest accredited and certified quality assurance facility. We inspect more than 900 products at over 400 companies. Our type-a inspection body is accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC and recognised with accreditation from various organisations both in Germany (e.g. DIBT, DVGW, DIN CERTCO, DVS, KRV) and abroad (e.g. SSIV, SVGW, VKR, VSA). In close cooperation with our customers, we tailor the test programmes to individual customer requirements. It is exclusively the SKZ which can award you the SKZ quality mark which proves the high quality of plastic pipe systems worldwide. SKZ is an accredited training and testing centre for the German Gas and Water Association (DVGW), the German association for welding and related processes (DVS) and the district heating work group (AGFW). The SKZ exams can be taken in accordance with DVGW, DVS and AGFW guidelines. Many courses offer SKZ certificates which are held in high regard by the business community. Our research and development activities in the field of plastic pipe systems cover the entire production and life cycle: from the material via the processing up to the long-term properties or also a sustainability assessment of the pipes. 3 (immersion-) temperature cycling test of thermoplastic-metal multilayer pipes Tests, Inspection, Certification and Optimisation Quality Assurance and Product Certification In our state-of-the-art test laboratory accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC we offer e.g. tests for pipes and fittings used for gas and water supply, domestic installation and geothermal propes and waste water applications. The test scope comprises all common mechanical and analytical tests on pipes and pipe systems in compliance with national and international standards, test guidelines of German and foreign certification bodies as well as according to the specifications for tests and inspection of SKZ. For the conducting of long-term pressure tests on pipes and fittings, SKZ has comprehensive capacities (approx. 600 pressure stations for more than 3,000 pipe samples) which are also used for the preparation of creep curves of pipe materials and multilayer pipes. On our extrusion line, we can produce pipes for test purposes or for optimising production on an industrial scale. Our test portfolio includes tests to determine the slow and rapid crack propagation of polyolefi n pipes as well as various system and jointing tests, particularly the temperature cycle tests for heating and sanitary installations and domestic waste pipe systems. Our test range also comprises tests on pipes and fittings for sewage systems, e.g. diametral stiffness and tightness tests. Through customised support and audits at your production sites by qualified experienced auditors we assist you in the quality assurance of your certified high-grade products.
