2 COMPANY PROFILE GMP ACADEMY OBJECTIVES Aim is to promote communities, stakeholders and mining industry statutory requirement on Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) as in line with South African National Qualification Framework (SANQF). We trust that through this academy by GMP will work collectively with other stakeholders to demonstrably changing the lives of RPL candidates, including workers and learners of all ages, unemployed people and other marginalised groups, as important beneficiaries of RPL services.we believe in symbiotic relationship in our business. GMP academy is a black owned and managed company operating in an emerging economy with an intention to contribute to development of people in mineral resources industry, technology improvement and transformation of the society and in the process contribute to success and social fibre of the communities. 7 Goals GMP Academy focuses on occupational qualifications to increase capacity of blasters, mine planners, geologists, surveyors, safety officers, rock engineers, artisans, lab analyst, national qualified machine and plant operators. COMPANY PROFILE Developing experienced but unqualified workers to Occupational Certificate (Up to level 6) with both the SETA and the unions on board.
