Thanks to energy buffering in the PS all data of a SIMATIC S CPU are saved inside the CPU. This power supply can be used with standard and failsafe CPUs. The S120 Booksize Motor Modules type C/D are intended for high-performance applications in the machine and plant sector. In addition to the modules with 3A-30A, modules with 24A, 45A and 60A are now also available. C type : Single Motor Modules 18A to 60A and Double Motor Modules 2x18A. D type: Single Motor Modules 3A to 30A and Double Motor Modules from 2x3A to 2x18A. These compact modules have a narrow width: with 45A and 60A the width is reduced by one third, from 150 mm to 100 mm. Page 29
