2 ABOUT US Dynatronix is a leading manufacturer of DC, reverse, pulse and pulse reverse power supplies. We are dedicated to helping companies increase their market share while maximizing production capacity, maintaining a high level of quality and maximizing profitability of their products. Since our inception in 1971, we have introduced more than 500 rectifier models, showcasing our ability to be a complete solutions-provider in the markets we serve. Today, we have leading brands in a variety of industries, including medical, semiconductor, aerospace, defense, automotive, nanotechnology and metal finishing. Dynatronix power supplies have earned world-wide acceptance due to their high quality, precision performance and positive return on investment. Our History Dynatronix began operations in April 1971 as the equipment division of Nova Tran Corporation. The division produced DC power supplies for a parylene coating process. Soon after, the division was approached by a manufacturer to develop a custom pulsed DC power supply for electroplating gold onto electronic connectors. Eight years later, the equipment division was purchased by two employeeshareholders, incorporated as Dynatronix and relocated to Amery, WI. In 1985, the company sold a minority interest to Kraftelektronik AB of Sweden and changed the name to Kraft Dynatronix. In 1992, the company sold its first programmable, multi-channel pulse power supply into the metal finishing industry. In 1994, Dynatronix bought back the minority interest from Kraftelektronik and changed the name back to Dynatronix. In 2000, microprocessor-based controls were added to all product lines. In 2004, Dynatronix received a patent for its Extended Range (XR) output capabilities. In 2008, Dynatronix opened a new R&D facility adjacent to its current manufacturing plant. In 2010, Dynatronix was awarded a grant from the Department of Defense to develop power supplies for new nano-crystalline plating applications such as chromium replacement.

With in-house talents ranging from power supply design to software and firmware development, our goal is to remain on the cutting edge of the power supply market. At Dynatronix, we specialize in designing quality into every product. Some of the tools we use include Solidworks Design tools; thermal modeling and computational fluid dynamics; static FEA analysis; circuit simulation; automated test, calibration and performance evaluations; frequency response evaluation; HALT/HASS/HASA testing and Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) certifications. Manufacturing Capabilities Dynatronix incorporates LEAN principles and flow manufacturing techniques. We adhere to strict ESD (electrostatic discharge) prevention and protection practices. All manufacturing employees receive IPC solder training and certification. Our state-of-the-art, ISO 9001-certified manufacturing facility features PCB surface mount and wave solder equipment with functional inline assembly testing to ensure only the best products are produced. 4 DYNATRONIX PRODUCTS The Dynatronix name has been synonymous with high quality, precision pulse and pulse reverse rectifiers since We also offer a large range of highly accurate, precisely controlled direct current (DC) power supplies. With outputs ranging from amperes to 13,000 amperes, we truly have one of the widest output ranges available. Dynatronix employs a large engineering design team with the ability to custom engineer a solution for almost any application or requirement. The Dynatronix engineering team averages 50 custom designs each year. Customization is not just limited to the hardware designs, but also applies to firmware and software applications. Whether you need DC, reverse, pulse, pulse reverse, single output, or multiple outputs, Dynatronix has the expertise to meet your needs. We strive to be more than just a vendor. Our goal is to provide total solutions. Our Family of Products DC Products All Dynatronix power supplies can be operated in straight DC mode, including our pulse power supplies. Models are available with current ranges of amperes to 13,000 amperes, and voltage ranges of 6 volts to 80 volts DC. Product families range from the simple-to-operate LT Series to the sophisticated computer-controlled Pro Series. If you cannot find a product that fits your needs, we can design and build a power supply that meets your requirements. Pulse products Dynatronix offers two types of pulsed output: 1) High Frequency Pulse (HFP): Available in the MicroStar and Pro Series product families, the HFP feature operates in the range of Hz. It may be used in nearly every type of electroplating application. 2) Low Frequency Pulse (LFP): Available as an option in the MicroStar and Diamond product families, the LFP feature operates in the range of 0-200Hz. LFP has proven itself as a cost-effective solution in several non-precious metal plating applications. Reverse Current Products Reverse output capability is available in the MicroStar, Diamond and Pro Series product families. Depending on the model and the maximum output capability of the power supply, the reverse output feature can be built directly into the power supply or offered as an external reversing switch that is controlled by the rectifier. In some models, the reverse is simply a DC output; in other models, the reverse current may actually be pulsed at low or high frequency.

5 PRODUCT OVERVIEW Available Options for Controls and Interfaces controls & user interfaces Dynatronix offers a diverse range of control options for its products. From simple 10-turn potentiometers to microprocessor-based interfaces to powerful PC-based controls, the possibilities are endless. Additional options include analog interfaces for PLC control, RS486 or Ethernet communications for serial control, protocol packages for custom integration and complete in-house custom-designed solution capabilities. Demo / rental program Our Demo Program allows customers to test one of our quality power supplies free of charge for a period of two weeks (10 working days). Technical support is available during the demo period. If more time is necessary to determine satisfactory results, the rectifier can be transferred to our Rental Program. All power supplies within the demo program are available to rent on a monthly basis. A rental credit of 50% will apply for all months paid if a new power supply is purchased within 30 days of the last rental period. 6 PULSE PLATING In the typical electroplating process, power is supplied to the plating bath as direct current (DC). In pulse plating, the DC power arrives in the bath in a series of short pulses. These pulse cycles can be regulated at predetermined rates to over 10,000 times per second. Precise changes in the regulation of these cycles provide different benefits to plated deposits, depending on the metal being plated. Typical advantages of pulse plating include better distribution, lower porosity, higher density, greater throwing power, improved hardness and less metal usage. Dynatronix offers two types of pulse cycles: high frequency pulse and low frequency pulse. The frequency range of our high frequency pulse runs from Hz. High frequency pulse is extremely versatile, allowing for pulse timing settings ranging from 0.1 milliseconds to seconds. It is often associated with precious metals plating, nickel electroforming, and copper plating of semiconductor wafers and printed circuits. The low frequency pulse at Dynatronix has a frequency range of Hz. Pulse timing settings range from an ON time of milliseconds to an OFF time of milliseconds. While not as versatile as high frequency pulse, low frequency pulse has the advantage of a significantly lower cost. It is primarily used in applications such as nickel plating and other non-precious metals.
