The new ServeRAID -5i Controller and 36.4 GB 1 15K-rpm Ultra320 SCSI Hot-Swap can be used independently of one another, or in combination, with selected IBM xseries servers. It works directly with the onboard LSI 1030 SCSI chipset to provide RAID-protected data storage to selected xseries servers. It supports both Ultra320 and Ultra160 SCSI HDD technologies.
