This unit, as shipped, will directly replace an existing clock or can be added as a new clock. This clock is not manufactured by CCT but meets and exceeds our expectations for quality. CCT is proud to offer this clock and will warranty this product with out question. Since this unit is mechanical we offer it as a way for end users who prefer the mechanical clocks to add or replace clocks. They come in steel cases with a glass lens. Plexiglas can be requested though. The only color available is black unless a large quantity is requested. The unit can be ordered in both 120 VAC and 24 VAC models. The unit will require no maintenance and should give years of trouble free service. Operation When installed in a 59th minute synchronous clock system, this unit will watch the correction line to see what time it is. When it receives an 8 second pulse the clock will advance to the next 59th minute and continue to run normal. (Hourly) When it receives a 14 second pulse the clock will advance to 5:59:00. (12 Hour) If a power failure occurs, the unit will stop and wait for power to come back. When it does the unit will begin to run normal and begin setting as soon as the system begins to send out corrections. Depending on the master clock you have it could take an hour or a day. 4 Model 3201 Engineering notes; A) Wire size or type is not important to this product as long all wiring meets applicable codes and ordinances. B) Wire distance will not be any problem as long as codes are consulted and followed. C) The master clock must be able to run 59th minute type synchronous wall clocks. D) Clock power does not need to run through master clock contacts. E) Depending on your requirements and the type of power supply, the red wires between the master clock and the power supplies may be high or low voltage. F) The clock cord is approximately 16 long. G) The wall side cord is approximately 8 long. H) Custom faces and hands require you to submit drawings.
