2 Introduction One of the many benefits to tenants resident on Plymouth Science Park is access to an extensive portfolio of ICT Services. With a wide range of Internet connectivity options including UltraFast broadband and leased lines, the on-site Data Centre and a managed, business class telephony platform, you can be sure your ICT needs will be well catered for in a professional and secure environment. Whether you are a sole trader with basic connectivity requirements or a larger, more established company with your own ICT provision, we have services to suit at preferential prices all delivered and supported in house and on site. Our ICT Services include: Flexible broadband services including UltraFast speeds starting at 23 per month - no line rental required. Ready-made secure networks for Plug and Go connectivity throughout your office(s). Business class VoIP telephony services with advanced call management features. Secure, advanced Datacentre co-location facility onsite. Free WiFi in our meeting rooms, Conference Centre, Break-Out spaces and Bistro. All office units are pre-wired with structured cabling for your voice and data needs. Dedicated onsite ICT support team. ParkNet Office Networking The PSP data centre is a top quality facility, providing environmentally controlled and securely monitored space for our hardware; and linked with high speed networking to our office and the world. Prompt and effective support when we need it most. All in all a vital service delivered impeccably Dr. Stephen Emsley, ARGANS Ltd PSP provide a ready-made, private network for each tenant to connect their devices at up to Gigabit to the desktop speeds. The network enables you to share your ICT resources such as servers, printers, storage etc. in addition to connecting all your users to your chosen Internet connectivity package. We provide and maintain all of the network infrastructure across the Park required for this - you just need to BYOD - Bring Your Own Device(s). We will connect you to this same private network should you span offices and buildings across the estate as you grow and we can also connect you to any ICT resources you may have co-located in our datacentre. These networking services are provided at no extra cost should you wish to make use of them. Datacentre & Data Safe Our on-site Datacentre offers a secure, environmentally protected ICT co-location facility. Protected by resilient air conditioning and UPS plant, CCTV, access control and monitoring systems it allows you to host your own servers and network hardware with peace of mind in a purpose built, high spec environment. In addition to the UPS systems, backup power is provided by a dedicated, high capacity standby diesel generator and the site, building and facility itself are covered by extensive Access Control and security systems. The Datacentre is home to three telecommunications carriers and has direct fibre presence to a national telco offering on-net access to both Next Generation Data (Cardiff) and Telehouse. Individual secure sections in our multi-user UL Class 12 fireproof data safe, located separately from the Datacentre are also available should you require secure physical storage for your backup media or other critical components. The Park has multiple duct routes for its own site wide networks and also for incoming services from several telecommunications carriers therefore offering tenants a high level of choice for connectivity and resilience whatever their size or needs. PSPs connection to the Internet takes the form of dual, dedicated high speed fibre circuits that serve the Park from two independent and geographically separate Points of Presence within the region. This level of network resilience provides a high quality connection with maximum availability, far in excess of the basic specifications provided by the majority of Internet Service Providers at similar price points. Your Internet connection is then routed via the Park s on site high speed fibre network direct to your unit or other location you may specify (eg the Datacentre) and therefore does not require a dedicated phone line to operate.
