8 Project origins Integrated Mission Group for Security (IMG- S) as a star5ng point (but CAMINO is open for other organiza5ons and foras). IMG- S is an open forum bringing together technology experts from Industry, SMEs, Research and Technology Organiza5ons (RTOs) and Academia. The IMG- S ini5a5ves are based on expert contribu5ons from above 100 organiza5ons from 24 European countries. IMG- S is divided into technical areas (TA). CAMINO proposal and consor5um originate from the IMG- S Technical Area Cyber Security (TA7). 6/10 members of CAMINO and 11 of Suppor5ng Members are involved in TA7.

9 Project objec5ves (strategic) Main strategic objec5ves: 1) To develop a comprehensive cyber crime and cyber terrorism research agenda, 2) To ini0ate long term ac0vi0es providing a stable plajorm of security research experts and organiza5ons.

10 Project objec5ves (detailed) To define a concept and terminology of cyber security, cyber crime and cyber terrorism. To iden5fy current cyber threats and corresponding state- of- the- art iden0fica0on, protec0on and defense mechanisms. To define research gaps and stakeholders needs. To propose and publish guidelines, recommenda5ons and a comprehensive research agenda (roadmap) regarding cyber security, cyber- crime and cyber- terrorism. To build a long term cyber research community on the basis of the IMG- S Cyber Security Thema0c Area (TA7). To reach a wide dissemina5on and exploita5on.

11 Community building and cyber think- tank One of the most important objec5ves of the project Dedicated work package (WP5) The goal defined is to establish cyber think- tank, composed of at least 15 securty experts Now, we are at the stage of defining think- tank vision, scope of ac5vi5es, etc.
