2 CORPORATE OVERVIEW Renaissance Sciences Corporation (RSC) began operations in 2004 and has been most known as a services-based developer of government technology products. Initially most active in the physics-based sensor simulation and synthetic environment domains, RSC has since broadened its R&D and systems engineering offerings as a trusted agent in support of multiagency clients across SOCOM, Army, Navy, Air Force, and DHS. Today, RSC offers technologies to support virtual rehearsal and training, geospatial data cataloging and exploitation, and physics-based synthetic environments. RSC is headquartered in Chandler, AZ and employs twenty-four individuals. Federal Contracting Credentials RSC's customers benefit from our established administrative processes and practices which set us apart from many offerors of our size. Contracts. RSC s accounting system was approved for cost-type contracts by DCAA in The majority of our federal services are supplied as prime contractor. Industrial Security Program. RSC maintains a mature industrial security program and maintain facility and personnel clearances at the SECRET level. Export Control Program. RSC has established a robust export control program under which we comply with all US Government requirements. 3 SIMULATION COMPETENCIES Sensor Simulation RSC s core competency has been the development and application of portable software development kits (SDKs) which enable sensor realism for real-time applications. RSC product lines in this competency, SensorHost and Interservice Common Sensor Model (ICSM), have been delivered by simulator systems integrators on over 100 fielded simulation devices. Physics-Based Environments RSC has been active in the development and application of portable software development kits (SDKs) which enable next generation visual and sensor realism in synthetic battlefield environments. Leveraging our related work in simulation data standards, RSC s SERE SDK implements dynamic construction of graphics pipelines for standardized DOD simulation data layers. Geospatial Data Management RSC is very active in the analysis, design, production, and management of refined source data for simulators. RSC develops geospatial data management and processing tools to manage large collection of datasets for archiving, analysis, processing, and distribution to support rapid development of simulation content. Night Readiness has deployed its simulation-based NVG instructional system, the Virtual Terrain Board TM, to over 30 aircrew training facilities across DoD, DHS, domestic commercial markets, and international governments. The VTB TM 3.0 Training System is comprised of a series of Lessons, Scenes, and Flight Demonstrations which exceed all of the training objectives included in the US military services Night Vision Goggle (NVG) programs such as the Air Force Research Laboratory NVG Instructor Course and the US Navy / US Marine Corps NITE Lab program. In a VTB 3.0 classroom, a high performance, simulatorgrade digital environment is interactively created and projected on a custom screen. Natural and cultural illumination, halos, gain, and atmospherics are combined to stimulate actual night vision goggles with levels of realism unequaled in traditional simulation devices. The resulting imagery, when viewed on the screen, appears as a visible and photo-realistic night scene. However, when viewing through night vision goggles, the student experiences an immersive night operational environment combining realistic NVG and look-under unaided viewing which provide the foundation for the efficient delivery of focused initial and refresher NVG training curriculum.

5 PRODUCTS AND SERVICES Geospatial Data Production RSC provides refined source data preparation for visual database from remotely sensed imagery, GIS data, and 3D models. We have provided Nevada and Alaska training ranges to USAF and various regions around the world to other customers. In addition to traditional daytime Outthe-Window, we provide nighttime visual and sensor layers including massive urban multispectral cultural lighting data and material classification and properties. SimGDMS TM SimGDMS is a geospatial data management tool developed to manage the workflow and distribution of source data for simulators that supports NAVAIR Portable Source Initiative (NPSI) data and metadata standards. It complements other simulation database production tools and workflow by organizing the data sources for easy query and processing. Each data item may be attributed with extensive metadata for offline and runtime processing. Plug-in tools extend features and procession options. SERE TM and ICSM TM The Interservice Common Sensor Model (ICSM) and Synthetic Environment Radiometry Engine (SERE) encapsulate the real-time rendering elements of RSC s current generation of scene and observer simulation technologies.

6 FACILITIES RSC is headquartered at its Chandler, Arizona facility where our corporate team and approximately half of our engineering staff operate on a daily basis. We have designed our spaces with an emphasis on collaboration, both among our staff and with our customers. Conference Room. The larger of our two conference rooms support meetings up to 20 individuals. Consider our Chandler location for Program Reviews and IPT meetings. Visitor Office. We maintain workstations for visiting RSC staff and visiting customers allowing you to be productive between meetings while here. P.I.T. Lab. Our port, integration, and test laboratory provides persistent spaces for development and demonstration of your workin-progress at RSC. RSC customer projects benefit from our 45TB storage-area-network with offsite backup and virtualized server farm designed for intense geospatial data processing. Software Development Environment.
