5 Destination Center The main tasks of the Center - to provide effective mechanisms to mitigate the risks of emergency situations and mitigate their consequences, jointly respond through measures agreed by the Parties, and stimulate regional and international cooperation. 6 Strategic Center Activities The Center conducts its activities in a coordinated manner with world trends in the field of disaster risk reduction, therefore, in addition to the functions assigned by the agreement, of its strategic directions the Center has taken the following postulates of its strategic directions: UN Sustainable Development Goals Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction

7 Regional cooperation On April 27, 2018, the Regional Forum - the Meeting of Heads of Emergency authorities of the Central Asian countries was held The forum was held with the participation of representatives of international and nongovernmental organizations: UNDP UNICEF ESCAP ICDO The WORLD BANK ADPC IFRCRC At the Forum, the Center has been granted the status of a regional Forum secretariat - Meetings of the heads of emergency authorities of the countries of Central Asia By the decision of the heads of delegations of the departments of the Central Asian countries, they approved: " Regional Scientific and Technical Council for Emergency Situations "; Coordination System for Emergency Response in Central Asia ; "Regional Register of national and international experts - experts"; Regional Register of forces and means of Central Asian countries. 10 Projects: Center participated and is currently involved in the implementation of 20 joint programs and projects in the field of DRR and ES: Grant of the European Commission on humanitarian assistance and civil protection of ECHO for under the DIPECHO Program; Projects in the field of DRR and emergency situations of the UNDP Regional Office for Europe and the CIS, Istanbul (Turkey; Projects of the Subregional Office of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP); The UNDP project in the Kyrgyz Republic Strengthening the Capacity for Integrated Risk Management in the Kyrgyz Republic and Regional Cooperation in Central Asia, funded by the Government of Japan in the framework of the Central Asia Plus Japan Dialogue; UNICEF Regional Office Project for Central and Eastern Europe and the CIS; The project of the Representation of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement in Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan (IFRC) and the National Red Crescent Societies of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, implemented in the area of emergency response and preparedness for emergency response at the regional level. Active negotiations are underway on the Center s participation in the programs of the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank, the European Commission. 10
