2 The Illustrator project Logo Due July 14 th, 2009 (6:00 pm) Flyer Due July 21 st (6:00 pm) This assignment is designed to provide experience using some of the Illustrator tools to create vector based images. Logo (5 pts) For this Illustrator image, you are to design a logo for a company or organization. This logo will include the name or initials and a representative image. Be sure to use the following techniques: Set the size to 5 X 5 inches Use a variety of drawing tools and shapes Use the text tool to add names and initials Podcast Flyer (10 pts) For this Illustrator image, you are to create an image that visually describes the theme of your podcast. You may create one complex image, or a composite of images. This flyer is a single-sided 8 X 10 image. Be sure to use the following techniques: Set the size to 8 X 10 inches Use a variety of drawing tools and shapes Use painting tools to add shapes and colors Use filters and effects to modify elements Use text for the title of the podcast You may not use library shapes!!! Fill the entire 8 X 10 area with shapes and color Submit the final.ai files to our Blackboard site. page 2
