1 Lightworks gets stuck analyzing - v Posted by khaver - 06 Sep :02 Version When the import panel is open and Lightworks is analyzing a list of videos, it sometimes gets stuck analyzing a video and if you change to a different directory or close the import panel, it keeps analyzing the video (you can hear the hard drive thrashing). If you re-open the import panel it won't analyze the new list because it's still stuck on the previous file. It would be nice if when you close the import panel or move to another folder any unfinished analysis is dropped. Another nice feature might be to cache the analysis results and thumbnails for each session of Lightworks. Any file that's been analyzed should only need to be analyzed once. 6 File received thank you. I can see the issue in it behaves slightly better in the next version of Lightworks but it is still not correct, will forward it to development for you. Nikon D Zoom H1 --> LW --> DVCPro > converted with VLC to what VLC said was H-264 and mp3 audio. It plays fine In VLC and Windows Media Player. We recorded some files on an ipad mini (surprisingly good results!). 6 of the 8.mov files show 6 / 7

7 up as 16-bit format and only import the sound. sennahojx and Cookiecutter - did you come up with a solution? I'm running Lightworks Pro on Win 7 64-bit. Cheers! I can transcode using Eyeframe, but it also nearly quadruples the size. LW Pro (Edu) , Win7 x64. 7 / 7
