2 Register Program Code as an Existing Sentinel User If you have already registered as an agent in Sentinel Elite, log into your account at After you log in, you will land on the Agent Dashboard. To register the 2018 MeridianCare onboarding program, click on the box Register New located at the top center of the dashboard. Enter program code in the Register for a new program section, then click submit. You might need to refresh the Active Program widget for the 2018 MeridianCare program to appear. Page 2

3 A message will pop up confirming that you have registered in the 2019 MeridianCare Medicare Annual Certification program. Return to Table of Content Page 3

4 Registering as a New Agent in Sentinel If you are not already a registered agent in the first step is to create a user profile or Register as an Agent : Select Register as an Agent The next page is where you enter your Social Security Number Enter your registration code Page 4

5 Once you have submitted your registration code, you will be prompted to create a username, password, and security questions. o Password requirements: 8 or more characters At least one special character (i.e.!#&$) At least one digit At least one uppercase letter Enter your demographics on the profile screen. Select save. Return to Table of Content Page 5

6 Welcome Form On your dashboard, under the Program section, the 2018/2019 MeridianCare Medicare Annual Certification Online program will be displayed. A message will pop up confirming that you have registered for the 2019 MeridianCare Medicare Annual Certification. You will have to click Start to begin the new program. Then, refresh your Programs section. *Disclaimer: if you receive errors throughout the workflow, refresh the page or delete your cookies. You may have to do this often. You will also receive an confirming that you have been enrolled into the 2019 MeridianCare Medicare Certification. Page 6

7 Once the program loads on your dashboard, the Welcome & Selling State Selection form will be the first step. Please click on Form: Welcome to start the step. Read this page carefully to understand everything that is required in this program. Toward the bottom of the page you will select the state(s) in which you are licensed and wish to be appointed. Then, click the Continue button to move to the MeridianCare Agent Agreement step. Return to Table of Content Page 7

8 Agent Agreement In this step, please read the MeridianCare Agent Agreement carefully. Then, once you are finished reading, scroll to the bottom and check the highlighted attestation box by clicking in the box, type your name in the Signature box, then click Continue. Page 8

9 A copy of the MeridianCare Agent Agreement will be saved to your Documents tab. Click OK to move to the W-9 step. Return to Table of Content Page 9

10 W-9 Form The next step in the onboarding program is the W-9 form. Your name will auto populate, as well as your address, depending on the content that was submitted in your Sentinel Profile. You will not be able to move forward until all required fields have been filled in. *Note: MeridianCare does not pay out commissions directly, this form is strictly for MeridianCare s records.* Page 10

12 MeridianCare FWA information The next step is reviewing MeridianCare s FWA information. This information is important in case an agent comes across any FWA. Return to Table of Content Page 12

13 AHIP/Core Training On the AHIP upload step, you have the option of uploading your 2019 AHIP Certificate or 2019 Pinpoint Certificate. Select whichever certificate that you wish to upload. You will then select Submit to continue to the page that will allow you to upload the certificate. If you select Cancel on this page, it will navigate you to the GHG 2019 Core training. The Check Again button is also useful for an agent who may have completed AHIP or GHG core for a different carrier and Sentinel is either not reading it, or the program wasn t completed when they started this program. This button, when selected will check all the agents current uploads that are located in their Documents tab. If you selected to upload a certificate, you will select Yes on next step. You can also select No to go to the GHG 2019 Core training. Page 13

14 To upload your 2019 AHIP or Pinpoint Certificate, click in the Attach File box to select your PDF version of your certificate then select Submit. If you have not taken AHIP or Pinpoint when initially asked what certificate to upload, select Cancel. This will direct you to the GHG Core as well. If you wish to continue to the GHG Core Training, click Continue to Training to go to the payment step. **If you click Cancel by accident and have an AHIP or Pinpoint certificate for upload, in this step, you have the ability to go back by to the upload page by clicking Return to Cert Upload. 15 An agent can also go back by selecting Cancel if they have gotten to the Payment page in Gorman. Return to Table of Content Page 15

16 Gorman Medicare 101 Core Training Program Skip this section if you uploaded an AHIP or Pinpoint certificate. After you pay for the Gorman Medicare Core, a new tab will appear with the training lessons. Complete each lesson by clicking on the green play button. Once you have completed each lesson, you can take the Exam. You will have 3 attempts and need a score of 90% to pass. Page 16

17 Once you complete the exam, close the tab and return to the dashboard to go to the CMS Compliance & FWA Attestation step. Return to Table of Content Page 17

18 CMS Compliance & FWA Attestation Please read carefully through the CMS Compliance and FWA attestation step. If you completed these trainings through AHIP or Pinpoint, select Yes. If you still need to take the trainings or already have the CMS MLN certificates for upload, select No. If you selected No your next step will be the CMS Compliance Upload/Training. Return to Table of Content Page 18

19 CMS Compliance Upload/Training Skip this step if you selected Yes to the CMS FWA & Compliance Attestation. If you selected No on the Attestation page, it will take you to the CMS Compliance certificate upload page. If you don t have a CMS compliance certificate (because you haven t taken the training yet), then select No, proceed to training to complete the CMS Compliance Training. Otherwise select Yes, Upload Certificate to upload your CMS Compliance certificate. Page 19

20 CMS FWA Upload/Training If you don t have a CMS FWA certificate (because you haven t taken the training yet), then select No, proceed to training to complete the CMS FWA Training. Otherwise select Yes, Upload Certificate to upload your CMS FWA certificate. Return to Table of Content Page 20

21 Upload CMS Certificates If you selected Yes Upload Certificate to either the CMS Compliance or CMS FWA training, below are examples of the CMS FWA and Compliance certificates that will be accepted for upload. Return to Table of Content Page 21

22 Code of Conduct/ 2019 MeridianCare Core Training The next step is going to be our 2019 Core training, this training consists of: Medicare Overview Provider relationships Part D review Sales agent compliance Code of conduct Enrollment process. There is no exam in the 2019 MeridianCare Core Training. However, there will be random mini quizzes throughout this portion of the training. Once you have completed this training, you will exit out of the window and go to your dashboard and notice the following message: This means that Sentinel is sending you an to the address listed in your agent profile. The discusses your completion of the first portion of our onboarding training and reminds you that you need to complete the State Specific product training workflows. Page 22

24 State Specific Product Training Once you have received your from Sentinel discussing the completion of the first portion of training, you will refresh your Sentinel Elite Dashboard. It should display your State product trainings that you selected in your MeridianCare Welcome Form that you completed in the beginning of the onboarding process as well as the background consent form. *note: it is important to select background consent first, once you give consent you can continue to your product training. If you select background consent first, there will be less steps you have to go through to complete your appointment. Once you have completed each state product training/exam and your appointment has been processed with the state, a Ready to Sell will go to the you have registered in your Sentinel Elite profile.
