2 Step 1 To Register/Create your Account New User Registration Click on the New User Registration hexagon. Complete the boxes and click on Register. Registering for the service takes less than a minute. You will then receive your Broker ID and Password, by and/or text. November

3 Logging In Click on the Existing Users Log In hexagon. Using your Broker ID and Password and click on the blue Log In button to gain access. You are now logged into your account. Use your account to generate quotes, access case progress reports and much more. November

4 Adding/Amending Account Details including Bank Details Click on Account Settings, and choose Office/Bank Account Details. This section allows you to amend your personal details. You will also have the ability to change your password. To the right hand side you can set your bank details in order to receive your referral fee by BACS. Once complete, please click on update details. Set your Default Referral Fee and Verification Option Your account is set to a default of 100 referral fee which is included in every quote. You may wish to change this. Change your referral fee by clicking on Account Settings, Programme Preferences. You can set your fee from 0 to 400 and according to type of transaction as shown in the next illustration. November

5 You can also set a different referral fee for any referral cases via your website on the same page on the right hand side. (See White Label Plugin section below). You can also set your default verification option under Programme Preferences. At the bottom of the page, on the left hand side you will see a dropdown menu from which you can select your preferred default verification method: November

6 White Label Plugin ConveyancingBrain s online solution includes a website plugin. Perfect if you have a website or are considering creating your website. The plugin is a consumer facing tool, designed to allow your website visitors/clients to obtain a quote and instruct a conveyancer. Works in a similar way as all the above, your client will receive notification of an instruction via and you will be copied in. This instruction will be placed within the Instructed Case tab under your account. Therefore, potentially earning commission, whilst your website does all the work for you. Please see our dedicated guide on how to use the ConveyancingBrain plugin. November

7 Step 2 Generate a Quote Generate a Quote in Minutes ConveyancingBrain allows you to obtain Residential/BTL and Commercial quotes. Click on Residential/BTL Quote and choose from Bridging Finance, Sale, Purchase, Sale & Purchase Combined, Re-Mortgage, Cash Back Re-Mortgage, Cash Back Re-Mortgage BTL or Transfer of Equity. Commercial quotes offer Sale, Purchase and Re-Finance options. November

8 Example used below is for a purchase quote: Type in the purchase price, postcode, number of applicants, tenure and lender if known. For nonstandard purchases click on the buttons underneath for further choices. You can choose to specify what ID will be submitted to streamline the process even further. Click Calculate to see results. November

9 Results The system will now display a full list of quotes according to solicitor who are on your chosen lender s panel. Results are ranked by lowest Total cost. Scroll over the View to see more details of the law firm. You can view customer feedback, this include both Broker and Client comments. Viewing and Saving Quotes Click View for a further breakdown of the quote and illustration. Click Download/ Print PDF Quote. To provide a copy to your client or to save locally to your device. If you wish to instruct, click Place Instruction. November

10 Step 3 - Instruction Complete client details, address and contact numbers. You have the ability to add a reference for your records. If you are charging a broker fee, click yes and complete fields as required if you want this paid by the Solicitor. You have the ability to send any comments to your chosen solicitor, this will be made available to your client to read as part of the case tracking facility. November

11 Click Submit; the following message will appear: View Saved Instruction The Solicitor will then be instructed and once the case has been accepted you can view under Instructed Cases tab. You can view detailed illustration by clicking Illustration: November

12 You will receive confirmation of instruction via along with progress updates, which will also be copied in to the message section of the ConveyancingBrain solution. Please see example s that you will receive following an instruction. Confirmation of instruction: Confirmation of quote and client care letter: November

13 Case update confirmation: All s are sent from Case tracking/manage Pipeline You can track the progress of your cases 24/7 under the Instructed Cases tab. Key stages can be set by your Solicitors (and may vary) but it is important to give your Solicitors flexibility to set their own especially if they want to integrate the key stages with their CMS. November

14 Click on the ID to view Summary, Illustration, Communication, Purchase Progress and Client Care letters. November

15 Solicitors Click on the Solicitors Tab to view the Solicitors on our panel. If you wish to disable any firms, which will remove them for your results. Please click on the live column, this will then switch off that firm. If you wish to revert back click disable to amend back to live. Adding your own Solicitor Sometimes, clients will insist on seeing a conveyancer in person and proactively search their local area to do so, and instruct a firm themselves. This means without the option of a local firm to refer to, you are cut out of the process (no referral fees and unable to talk to the solicitor on the client s behalf). We can provide a solution to this - you can add a firm of your choice to your individual panel on ConveyancingBrain. With permission from the said firm they will appear in the results of any applicable quotations created by you and allowing you to instruct cases to them using our portal. We would offer the use of our software to the said firm, meaning you can utilise our functionality in addition to working with them (e.g. case tracking, communication, feedback and all our usual functionality) and we will pay your referral fee as normal on the day of case completion. November

16 How to add your own solicitor: Log in to your account on and click on Account/Settings dropdown arrow. Select Add A Solicitor : An introduction page and instructions will appear explaining the 3 simple steps: November

17 Payments To see payments made to you for your referral, click on the Reports drop down arrow and select Payment History: Messages The Messages section retains all s sent to yourself and your client following instructions and throughout process. s are also sent directly to your chosen mailbox that you enter during registration.
