What is the patient portal? The Schuylkill Health patient portal is a secure website that provides you with convenient 24- hour access to your personal health information from anywhere with an internet connection. This information will be available on line for you to view upon discharge. 2. Why is using a patient portal important? Accessing you personal medical records through a patient portal can help you become more actively involved in your health care. Accessing your family members health information can help you take care of them. This service is provided to help you become a healthier, more informed patient! 3. What can I do with the patient portal? Schuylkill Health is pleased to provide patients with access to their health record electronically. Accessing the patient portal provides you with information such as: Medications Allergies Immunizations Certain Lab tests Medical problems/history. Discharge instructions for those who were inpatients 3. 1Is my information safe?

2 Your health information is private, secure and protected. Schuylkill Health has privacy and security safeguards in place to protect your health information. To make sure your private health information is safe from unauthorized access, the patient portal is hosted on a secure connection and accessed via an encrypted, password protected login. You play a role in keeping your information safe as well! Do not give your user id and password to anyone and be sure to always Log Out when you are done viewing your information via the portal. 4. I don't want to give my out! I get enough junk as it is! Only our staff members have access to your address. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone! 5. When I first go to the portal, it says CPSI. What is CPSI? CPSI is the company that helps Schuylkill Health provide you with portal access. 6. Why did I receive multiple invitations when I've only had one visit? Typically, if you are a new patient at Schuylkill Health, you will receive 2 invitations. At this time, our program has been sending some additional invitations. Just one of the invitations needs to be selected to set up your portal account. The others may be ignored or deleted. Our vendor is working to resolve this issue quickly. 7. Why did I receive an invitation when I haven't visited either hospital? The most common cause of this is when you are added to another patient's account as authorized to view their information on the portal. This will require you to redo your portal account set up. If you redo your portal account set up and find there is not access to another patient's accounts on the portal OR you have access to a patient account that you do not know who the patient is, please contact the Portal Support Line for the appropriate facility: Schuylkill Medical Center - South Jackson Street (570) OR Schuylkill Medical Center - East Norwegian Street (570) Please DO NOT VIEW the portal information for the patient if you do not know who the person is.

3 Please provide information on the A A A, Home and Logout options seen on the portal once I sign in. A A A controls the size of the letters on the screen. The size will increase as you click on the letter A left to right. Home will take you back to the screen shown above if you are on any other screen on the portal My Settings will allow you to change your password and your security questions. See separate frequently asked question: How do I change my password?

4 FAQ takes you to an area of the Portal that answers some basic commonly asked questions regarding the portal. Just an FYI, we do not currently offer Online Bill Pay via the Portal. Logout will log you off of the portal/sign you out of the portal. To protect your information, you should always be sure to Logout. 8. What is the Activity Log option for?

7 9. How do I obtain an address if I do not have one? There are a number of websites that you can utilize to create an account. Below are a few websites that will help you create an address!
