3 About this document Welcome to the SABB efx Client User Guide Intended readership This guide is aimed at those users wishing to use the SABB efx Client applet for the purpose of Foreign Exchange (FX). This document assumes Client have read and acted on Requirement document to access SABB efx and compatible version of Java and IE installed on PC. In this document This document describes the procedures to login and all aspects of FX using the SABB efx client applet: Getting Started Setup Rates Viewing FX rates. FX trading: RFQ, one-click. Deal searching and retrieval. This is a live document. It will be updated on a regular basis to provide definitive guidelines for use by all clients for all supported operating environments. 4 Getting Started 1. Login to Efx application Open your web browser and navigate to the SABB efx web site by typing the URL The Secure SSO login screen will be displayed. Enter below credential received by you via SMS on your mobile registered with SABB. If you don t have those details please contact your RM at SABB Treasury. Enter your User Name. Password After entering below information click submit and you will receive OTP (One Time Password, on your registered mobile with SABB) to be entered on next screen. Notes: User id and Passwords are case-sensitive. After entering above details, Click on the Submit button. Page 2 of 18

5 After entering OTP, You will be displayed SABB Efx welcome screen Notes : You must allow pop-ups for SABB efx web site. The SABB efx client applet is displayed. After further system validations below Screen will be displayed from where Clients can start perform Trading. Notes: Do not close your web browser while you are using the SABB efx client applet. 6 Setup rates (Client s rate screen): 1. Click on Clients Rate button. 2. The below screen will appear, if the currency pair setup is already completed. 3. New users will get a blank screen, it will require new users to create new setup and name it as they desire. (Please check the next step). Page 4 of 18

7 Setup rates: 1. The Client's rates screen can be customized as per client desire from the right corner of the "Client rates" screen [Plus button] or [Edit button]. 2. To create a new setup screen, click on the plus button, choose the required currency pair (See the orange arrow). 3. To edit a setup screen click on the pencil button to add/remove a currency pair (See the dark blue arrow). 4. The following screen will appear to choose among the desired currencies. 5. The maximum chosen currencies per setup should not exceed 12 currency pairs. 6. More setups can be created; the name of the setup will appear on the right column (See the green arrow above Page 5 of 18

8 Deal Ticket Screen: To get the deal ticket screen, click on the required currency side (I Sell / I Buy): The deal ticket will appear (See below deal tickets). There are two main types of booking deals: Auto Trade Deals: Auto trade deal is the deal that is booked directly by clients without waiting for traders pricing. Any deal above $10,000 up to $500,000 or equivalent in other currencies will be booked directly at the pre-agreed rate which appears on the client deal ticket. Choose the required deal type from the drop down box "Trade type" (See dark blue arrow) Once the deal the deal details is ready click on "Submit" button (See green arrow). The clients should accept the price within 20 seconds (See light blue arrow). Page 6 of 18

10 Manual trade deals: Manual trade deal is the deal that requires trader to pick up the client request and respond with a price accordingly Any deal above $500,000 or equivalent in other currencies will be treated as manual deal. Choose the required deal type from the drop down box "Trade type" (See blue arrow). Page 8 of 18

11 Deal Ticket Spot Deal: To book a deal for value Today/Tomorrow/Spot, choose trade type "Spot/Outright" (see blue arrow) Choose the required value date from the drop down box "Value Date" (see green arrow below) All currencies accounts number can be provided and configured to appear in the right side of the deal ticket for clients to choose which account to be debited / credited (see orange arrow). Clients can communicate with traders while pricing any deal through the chat panel at the right side of the deal ticket (see light blue arrow). Client can also add remarks on the deal ticket, any instructions related to the deal through the custom panel at the right side of the deal ticket (see red arrow). Client can also add a memo on the deal ticket for any internal business issue and that memo will not appear on trader s side (see grey arrow). Finally, to book the deal, click submit button and check the status bar at the bottom of the deal ticket (see dark blue arrow). Page 9 of 18

13 Memo example There are various scenarios after submitting a deal: The deal can be cancelled by a client for any reason while the status bar is still showing (waiting for trader to pick up) or (waiting for trader response), click on "Withdraw" button for cancelling the deal. Waiting for trader pickup. Trader will receive a client deal pricing request, the deal will be priced and sent back to the client for acceptance within 20 seconds. (See the below deal ticket). 14 A client can accept or reject the price, If a client does not accept within 20 seconds then the deal will be cancelled "timed out" automatically, if the deal is still required then it has to be submitted again. Please confirm Once the deal is accepted, the status bar will show a confirmation that the deal is logged and will provide the logged deal number. The logged deal should appear on the deal blotter. ** All the above procedures are applicable for all deal types, Spot/Outright/Swap/Time option. Page 12 of 18

16 Deal Ticket Outright forward deal: To book an outright forward deal, choose trade type "Spot/Outright" (see blue arrow). Select the required maturity date from the value date drop down box (see green arrow). Maturity date also can be chosen from the broken dates drop down boxes (see green arrow). Page 14 of 18

17 Deal Ticket Swap deal: To book a swap deal, choose trade type "Swap" (see dark blue arrow). Select the required near/far leg maturity date from drop down box (see green arrow). Page 15 of 18

18 Deal Ticket Time Option Deal: To book a time option deal, choose trade type "Time option" (see dark blue arrow). Select the required near leg date "Start date" and the far leg "End date" maturity date from drop down box (see green arrow). Page 16 of 18

19 Deal Logs (Blotter): Click on "blotter" button (see dark blue arrow). Click on "Search log" button and the blotter will appear "blotter". Deal blotter will provide all booked deals details, e.g. amount, rate, currency pairs, deal number etc. The deal blotter can be filtered by days to get historical data. The deal blotter can be also filtered by user name if there is more than one user from each company. The deal blotter is very flexible to manage the data, all columns can be moved to left/right as clients desires and unimportant column can be removed. Deal blotter view Page 17 of 18
