1 Guide on how to use the macademy. Thank you for showing interest in My Learning Academy, the premier e-learning solution in Africa. This document will give you an overview of how to navigate the portal, so that you can have an easy and enjoyable learning experience. STEP 1: 1. Connect your PC/Laptop/tablet to the internet 2. 4 Click the course listing tab to view a wide variety of courses. Add preferred courses to your cart by clicking the add to cart tab Click the cart tab to view selected courses in your cart Click on the subscribe tab to have access to the course material. Click the my courses tab to view all the selected courses by you and then launch chapter by chapter until completion. Finally, click the start button and the course will open in another screen. Make sure your browser settings accepts pop ups from this site. Step 1:Click on the course listing to view a wide variety of courses Click here for a detailed description of the course Step 2: Click to Add course you want to learn to your cart

5 Step 3:Click here to view all selected courses in your cart continue shopping for different course material Step 4:Click here to subscribe to the selected course unsubscribe from selected course Step 5: Click here to launch course chapter by chapter

6 Step 6: Finally, click here and the course will open in another screen. Make sure your browser settings accepts pop ups from this site

7 The Announcement page gives information on all the recent happenings on the platform. update your profile view Announcements Clicking the settings tab links you to an update profile form

8 Ask a question: On clicking the ask a question tab, you have a variety of fields from which you can ask relevant questions related to a particular field. Click on the related field from which you wish to ask your question After selecting the related field, you can then ask your question by clicking the post query tab. Click here post your question

9 Adding teachers to your virtual classroom Step 2: Type name in search bar to find teachers to add to your classroom Step 3: Click here to view content list Step 4: Click to send request Step 1: Click here to access the virtual classroom Click the job board to show available job listings Adding friends to your network: Step 1: click the search people icon Step 2: Type in the name in the search field & press enter Search for friends already on the macademy, select the name and then connect.

10 Step 4: click on the My network tab to view friends you have connected with Step 3: click connect You have the network tab, which shows friends on the platform you have connected with. Always add friends to your network to relate on relevant subject matters such as; help you with course challenges, send messages and a whole lot more. return to the home page logout of the macademy select your preferred language

11 # Teacher portal: Step 1: To login as a teacher, click the teacher tab. Put in your username and password and then login. Step 1: Click the teacher tab to sign in as a teacher Step 2: Enter username and password and click the login button After login, you are brought to the home page.

12 view your teacher profile Home page Click to View your teacher Profile. Click to upload and manage learning material. Click My assessment to add assignments and classwork for students. Click My announcements page to post information to students. Click My Queries to view and answer questions students may have for you. Click the students requests tab to view students profile and accept them to your virtual classroom where they have access to contents uploaded by you and can ask you questions. get information on contents uploaded by you such as; the content name, content type and no of download on that content.
