1 BULK MAIL STEPS To assist you in the bulk mail process, please make sure to follow the following steps. Key things to know in advance: 1. There must be a minimum of 200 pieces in a bulk mail with 150 of those pieces mailed to zip codes that begin with either 339 or The bulk mail department is located at the 1200 Goodlette-Frank Road, Naples in the back of the post office. The entrance is a separate entrance from the regular entrance and not well marked. The drive is located just south on Goodlette-Frank Rd. 3. Bulk Mail Trays and sleeves can be obtained in advance of your mailing. It is easier to prepare the mail in your office than at the post office. 4. IMPORTANT: Print the bulk mail permit on the envelope or buy a bulk mail stamp and stamp each envelope. Website on How to Design a Permit Imprint Indicia 5. When doing the labels, Include in the address below the name: or current resident. This is required for all bulk mail. Actual Steps for preparing the mail: 1. Sort mail all into the following 2 categories: a. 339/341 b. Other 2. Count the pieces by each category. These go into the following areas on the 2 nd page of the bulk mail 3602-EZ form. a. 339/341 D1 A for $0.256 b. Other D2 Mixed A for $ Get the Bulk Mail tray at the post office. Each category must be in a separate tray. 4. The letters must be put into the bulk mail trays facing the small white plastic sleeve on one end of the box so that the post office can put either a local (339) or mixed (320) card into the sleeve. Please note: that all envelopes must face the same direction and be right side up in the box. 5. Cover the box with a bulk mail tray sleeve obtained at the post office. 6. Fill out the Bulk Mail 3602-EZ form. See the attached example of the form. 7. They do not take credit cards in the bulk mail department. Be prepared with cash or a check.
