2 About PayDough Inspirus members can use PayDough to make one-time, person-to-person fund transfers by or mobile phone number. Transactions are processed through the Debit Card Network. Funds are credited in real-time and will post the same day if the recipient chooses to use their debit card. If they use the checking account option, which requires their routing number and account number, it may take up to three days to post in their account. NOTE: Recurring and scheduled transfers are not currently available for this service. Sending payments through PayDough PayDough is a free service that allows Inspirus checking account members with an Inspirus debit card to safely send money online with their personal indentification number (PIN). PIN entry is required to authenticate the transactions in addition to the debit card number and expiration date. The member s debit card PIN is encrypted so that it never travels across payment channels as the actual numerical PIN. Additionally, PayDough requires PIN entry by mouse or touchscreen (the PIN cannot be entered by typing the numbers on the keyboard). This security feature will help keep the transactions secure in the event the computer or device is infected with a virus or malware that tracks keystrokes. NOTE: This service is only available to send money to U.S. bank accounts. Receiving payments through PayDough Recipients have two options for receiving their payment: using an eligible debit card or via checking account by providing their financial institution s routing and checking account number. Not all financial institutions allow these types of transactions. For example, Bank of America and USAA are two financial institutions that we are aware of that don t currently allow these types of transactions. The recipient may have to check with their financial institution. Debit cards that are not eligible will display an error message Card Not Eligible. For debit cards that are not eligible, the recipient of the funds must use the checking account option. If the recipient uses their checking account, the funds will be available in 1-3 days, depending on how the recipient s financial institution processes these payments. NOTE: If the recipient does not claim the funds within 10 days, the funds are returned to the member s checking account on day 11. 3 How to use PayDough 1. Fill out payment information Click the PayDough widget and the Send Money screen will appear (if it does not, you may need to adjust your browser settings). You ll fill in the following sections About Your Recipient: Recipient or mobile phone number (you can choose to remember that contact for future payments by checking the box). About your Payment: Memo (Optional) - displays to the recipient in the or text notification Transfer Amount - enter the amount you wish to send About Your Account: Inspirus Debit card number Expiration date Checkmark, I accept the terms of service Click, the Send button 2. Enter debit card PIN to authorize You ll enter your debit card PIN. As you click or touch each number of your PIN, the pad scrambles before entry of the next number. The transaction will be cancelled if two consecutive, unsuccessful PIN entries are received. You can retry after 15 minutes. Upon successful entry of your PIN, the transaction is processed by selecting the SUBMIT button. 3

4 3. Receive successful message Success! You will also receive an notification confirming the send money request was completed. The recipient will receive an or text message with instructions on choosing a method to deposit the funds to their financial institution. The recipient will click the PayDough link and be directed to the Receive Money page. How to receive money After clicking the PayDough link received by or text message, the recipient can choose to enter their debit card to receive the funds immediately after processing or choose the option to Receive with your checking account. The recipient must checkmark the I accept the terms of service. Then, select Deposit Payment button to complete (see images below). 4

5 Receive money using debit card Receive money using checking account The recipient receives the Success! message after entering in their debit card or checking account information for payment. If the recipient chose the option to receive the funds by their checking account, the Success message appears with You should see the funds in your account within 1-3 days, depending on your bank. 5
