3 FELLOW GMail Calendar Sync. GMAIL CALENDAR SYNC. PLUGIN FOR CRM ON DEMAND Introduction With Fellow Consulting s CRM Gadget GMail Calendar Sync. Plugin for CRM On Demand you will be able to synchronize your personal GMail Calendar with Oracle CRM On Demand. You don t have to maintain two calendars, you will rather have all your CRM Data in GMail. You will simply be able to transfer all Tasks and Appointments from CRM On Demand to GMail and back. Never miss a meeting, have all current information in CRM and on your Laptop in GMail. The same calendar and tasks on each device, online or offline. Maintain your Tasks or Appointments wherever you are, synchronize all information from and to CRM one source of information on every device. 3

Click the Security tab, and then select the zone Trusted sites Click Sites.

4 I. Installation Only if you are using the Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser, you will have to add the trusted site: Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options. Click the Security tab, and then select the zone Trusted sites Click Sites. Add following website to the zone field and Click Add. Click Close, and then click OK 4

5 Before you install the Calendar Sync gadget, please log in to your Gmail Account: 5

7 Please set the red marked flag Note: Google will ask you for permission to access your Google Account when you install for the first time. A Remember-this-approval-for-the-next-30-days checkbox is check by default. If you use this checkbox, the installation will be done again in the next 30 days. 7

8 Please uncheck the checkbox as shown in screenshot if you don t want to reinstall the gadget in the next 30 days. Click Allow button in order to go to the install page. 8

9 Click Install this gadget to install CRM for Google calendar Click Allow Access button to allow gadget into your calendar 9

II. Use To connect to CRM on Demand Server have to log in to the Google Calendar Plugin first. The correct login will let you sync your records (Appointments and Tasks) to/from the server.

Usually something like User name: Your CRM OnDemand Username Password: Your CRM OnDemand Username Click the Save & Test Connection button to be sure that you are connected to Oracle server. 11

12 Creating an Appointment to synchronize to CRM on Demand Double click a date in Google calendar Complete the field values (please insert in field subject only 150 characters, including spaces) (please insert in field location only 100 characters, including spaces) Click the Save button After the record was created, go to your CRM gadget for Google Press Sync button 12

13 Creating a Task to synchronize to CRM on Demand Creat a task by clicking in the task line in your Google calendar at your wish date. (please insert in field subject only 150 characters, including spaces) complete the field values press Create event button To sync the new created task with CRM on Demand simply click your sync button in the CRM gadget for Google calendar 13

14 III. Synchronization The sync tab will let you sync the data from CRM on Demand. The synchronization is depending on the Start Date and End Date entered: 14

Full synchronization Usually only new created or modified calendar entries are synchronized. If you check Full Synchronize then ALL entries between Start and End Date will be synchronized. Please be aware that this could be time consuming depending on the overall number of entries. 15
