1 00.04, 29 Nov 2010 Log in to Studywiz 1. Open a web browser window, and in the address field enter the URL of the Studywiz deployment. The Studywiz splash page appears. 2. Click the Standard Log In button. The User Login dialog box appears. 3. In the User Name and Password fields, type your user name and password. 4. Click the Login button. The Studywiz home page appears. 1

2 Access your Gmail Account from Studywiz First login Set up Your Gmail Account The first time you access your Studywiz Gmail account, there is a small amount of setup to do. Follow this procedure the first time you access Gmail through Studywiz. You will not have to follow this procedure again unless you have a new Gmail account set up by your Studywiz Administrator. 1. Log in to Studywiz. 2. Click the Gmail button. 3. From the Language drop-down list, select your language. 4. In the Captcha security challenge-response field type the characters shown in the image. 2

3 5. Read the Terms of service and then click the I accept. Create my account. button. Your Gmail Inbox appears. You now have full access to your Studywiz Gmail account. Subsequent Logins 1. Log in to Studywiz. 2. Click the Gmail tab. Gmail opens in a new window or tab (depending on your browser settings). You now have access to your Gmail account. Return to Studywiz Click the Studywiz browser tab or window. Sign out of Gmail In the Gmail window, click the Sign out link. When sign out, go back to SW splash screen 3

4 Log in Directly to Gmail By using a different URL, you can log in directly to your Gmail account, without going through Studywiz. This allows you to check your Gmail quickly. 1. Open a web browser window and in the address field enter the URL: Mail.google.com/a/gwizdemo.com. The User Login panel appears. 2. In the User Name and Password fields, type your user name and password. 3. Click the Login button. The Gmail page appears. Log out from Gmail 1. In the top right corner of the Gmail page, click the Sign out link. The Studywiz splash page appears. Logging in from this page will take you into Studywiz, not directly into Gmail. Gmail Settings There are many settings within Gmail that control how your messages are sent and how they will be seen be recipients. 1. Log in to your Gmail account through Studywiz. 4

5 1. In the top right corner of the page, click the Settings link. The Settings page appears. Gmail settings are categorized and organized into the following categories, which appear as tabs in the interface: General Accounts Labels Filters Forwarding and POP/IMAP Web Clips 5

6 For full information on setting your Gmail options, in the top right corner of the page, click the Help link and then the Gmail Help Center link. Settings tabs help is available under the Your Settings Tabs header. 2. Make the required changes and apply them according to the functions on the selected tab. Password Your Studywiz account and your Studywiz Gmail account use the same password. Follow this procedure to change your Studywiz password. 1. In Studywiz, click the Settings tab. If you attempt to change your password in the Gmail interface, the system will direct you back to Studywiz. Google requires passwords to be at least six characters long. 6

7 2. In the Old Password field, type your current password. 3. In the New Password and New Password Confirmation fields, type your new password. Ensure that it is at least six characters long. 4. Click the Apply button. Your new password is saved. Admin Roles A Studywiz Administrator may grant you Administrator privileges over the Studywiz Gmail system. When this occurs, you will have to accept the role before you can access Gmail. The next time you log in to Gmail after a Studywiz Administrator has granted you Admin permissions, you will see the Create an administrator account page: Accept the Admin Role 1. Enter the characters shown in the Captcha security challenge-response section. 2. Clicks the I accept. Create my account. button. Your administrator account is created and your Gmail page appears. 7
