1 CLX Campaign Manager User Guide The purpose of this Guide is to briefly describe usage of the Campaign Manager Portal. This tool is used to ingest US Shortcode based Campaigns. This guide details what is required in each section. These fields are necessary to capture elements our team then use to complete the necessary carrier required questions in their respective portals and forms. Below are the step-bysteps of this process encompassing screenshots explaining the elements required for a new campaign submission. Campaign Info Migrated campaign: Please select check box if the campaign is a migration. Campaign Name will be the name of your program. This should be consistent with the name the campaign is called in all defined Message Flow fields. Select Traffic Charge of Standard Rate for messages that may be charged for, or Free-to- End-User for FTEU campaigns. Fill in the short code that will be used, this is a five or six digit number. The Campaign Overview is a brief description of the program. **Note that all items that are * are required fields in this tool.
2 Content Definition A content definition section will need to be filled out for each type of message being sent (SMS, MMS) Choose the Message Type in the first box. Content Type is the type of messages that the program will be sending to users. For Subscription Type, choose One Time for programs that will only send single messages or Subscription for programs that a user will have to subscribe to and will send multiple messages per month. The Call to Action box describes how the user opts in to the program (texting a keyword to the short code, opting in on a website, etc.) This field details the exact verbiage presented to an end user participating in the campaign. Carrier defined elements must be present. In the Opt In Message box, type the message the user will receive after opting in. This message must include the program name, message frequency (for example, 5msg/mo, recurring messages, periodic messages, etc.), help info (reply HELP for help), stop info (reply STOP to cancel) and message and data rates may apply. Provide an Example Message in the example box. Click Add Content Definition to save the information. Repeat this step if more content definitions are required. Carrier Coverage Select all carriers the program should be submitted to.
3 Customer Care Standard Opt Out Keywords will include mandated values > STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL, and UNSUBSCRIBE. Include any additional keywords that the program will use. The Opt Out MT must include the program name, and confirmation that the user has unsubscribed and will not receive any more messages (see example). The Help MT must include the program name, and customer support info i.e. toll free telephone number, address, and/or website url (see example). Please fill out contact info: , web url, and toll free number. Terms and Conditions Provide the Website url for the program s terms and conditions page, if live. If website is not up yet, please give the plain text version of the terms and conditions and a text document. This must mirror what will be made live in production url.
4 Contacts There are two mandatory fields for contact entries for your short code based campaign. The Notification Contact will receive notifications about the campaign. These will be CLX and Carrier feedback, and carrier status updates. Multiple addresses can be added if needed. The Compliance Point of Contact is the person or alias that is responsible for Carrier audits. This address will be on record with the US Short Code Registry and WMC Global (if you don t have an existing account with WMC, an account will be created). Attachments Upload attachments: Short code receipt Sprint SPI form AT&T (new) CP form (if applicable) Call to Action Advertisement Migration letter (if applicable) MMS image (if applicable)
5 Notes Provide any additional notes in this section. Click Save as Draft. Submit Campaign The last step is to enter any Contacts for this particular campaign, addresses entered here will be notified of any changes, edits or Notes that require review and/or edits. Finally, clicking Submit will submit the campaign to the CLX Service Implementation Team for review.
