1 FAMILY ACCESS TUTORIAL You may access your parent account using the login and password that you received from the school office. Your Family Access account is where you will find student grades, food service account information and much more. The link for the login page is located on the school website Family and Student Access Link Login Page - If you do not know your login information contact the school at to request it.

3 Access Tabs There is a tab bar to the left under Home where you can access: Home - messages from teacher and office staff as well as an Upcoming Events list Online Registration this must be done to complete the Registration process. Calendar See assignments, school information please use the website calendar for more detailed information. Grade Book this is where you can find individual grades for each course. You are also able to look at each grade and see what assignments make up that grade as well as any missing assignments. Attendance this will show any absences and tardies for your student. Student Info basic student information and emergency contact information. This is also where the bus schedule will be located. Food Service check account balances or see exactly what your student had for lunch. Schedule student class schedule. Schedules are subject to change at any time based on the needs of the student. Discipline view any disciplinary offenses on file for your student. Fee Management the school does not use this function in skyward. Online Payments: please go to the parent tab on the school web site to use e-funds, our online fee payment center. E-funds is a second party fee payment center. You will need to know your family ID number prior to setting up this account. If you are unsure of what this number is please contact the school office to get it. You are able to pay registration fees, hot lunch, and some field trips using this online payment option. Grade Reports this is where the student progress reports and report cards are posted 3 rd 8 th grade. You may access multiple years of grade reports from the entire time your student is at UGHS. Report cards are not mailed home unless specifically requested by a parent due to no internet access. Skylert VERY IMPORTANT TAB - Please see additional information below (#5.). Health Info this shows the information you have submitted regarding your student s health concerns. Skyport takes you back to the home page of Family Access. My Account - Please click on this to verify all information that we have listed for you. Be sure the is accurate as this is the way the school contacts parents. You may also set up notifications for grading, attendance and progress reports here.

4 5. SKYLERT TAB CRITICAL INFORMATION - PLEASE CORRECT IF NECESSARY NOTIFICATIONS If the General box is checked by a phone # - the alert calls will go to that number. Uncheck work numbers if you do not want the general messages. A true EMERGENCY call will go to all numbers registered to a student One of the biggest complaints from parents is the general announcement type phone calls going to numbers such as work, extra cell, etc. Please make sure the checked boxes shown above are correct. This must be done for each family member s account so please log in as each parent to take care of these details.

5 6. On-line Registration Click the student name to start your required online registration If you have more than one student you will need to do the online registration for each student. Once you complete a step YOU MUST click the Complete Step() Only button. This will let you move to the next step and will show a green check next to the step. Every step should be viewed. When you compete a step, click the Complete step () Only at the bottom of the page.

6 7. Emergency Contacts You are allowed 3 additional emergency contacts other than the parent(s)/guardian(s). We ask that you add in at least one additional contact person other than a parent/guardian. You can do this by clicking on the Add Emergency Contact button. Then add the new contact information. There is a drop down box that allows you to choose an individual if they are already in our system. If they are not in the system, you may add them manually by following the steps on the screen. Click to add an emergency contact Click onto Complete Online Registration 8. To complete the online registration and to submit it, click on step number 5, Complete Online Registration.

7 Click on the Submit Online Registration button to complete the online registration process. Please!!!!! Remember to click the Submit Online Registration button! 9. When you have completed the online registration process you will see this screen. At this time you can either log out or you can click Online Registration on the left hand side and complete the same processes for any other students you need to register.

8 If you need to change any information in the online registration click the Mark Online Registration as not completed and make changes button, click on the section you need to fix, click on the Complete Step () Only button and then click on step 5 to re-submit the online registration. You MUST RE-SUBMIT to save any changes!!!! Please call if you have any questions.
