2 1. Go to cfcnca.org
3 2. Click on Nexus A. Click on the quick link for NEXUS
4 3. Login with your username and password, or register a new account If registering a new account, please see our Registration Tutorial first A. Click login button on the left under MAKE A PLEDGE B. Or click login button in the top right corner
5 4. You have successfully logged in A. Click on the green button to proceed to Nexus
6 5. You may choose to replicate a pledge previously submitted, or skip this step and begin a new pledge A. Click, Replicate Pledge, to recreate your previous pledge. NOTE: You will still be able to alter the charities and dollar allocations after this step B. To create an entirely new pledge select a pledge type and then click, Go to Next Step
7 6. Payroll Contributions If you choose to submit a pledge via Payroll Contribution additional sections will appear to select a payroll period, amount per pay period and a payroll authorization Select the payroll period applicable to you and the total amount you would like deducted from each pay period YOU CAN ONLY MAKE ONE PAYROLL PLEDGE PER YEAR You must check off the button to authorize your payroll deduction When all sections are completed click, Go to Next Step to proceed

Credit or Debit contributions If you choose to submit a pledge via credit or debit card, you have the option of submitting a one time pledge or a monthly recurring pledge Enter the card information required When entering the expiration date input MM/YYYY A. When all sections are completed click, Go to Next Step to proceed
9 8. E-check or ACH contributions If you choose to submit a pledge directly from your bank account in the form of e-check/ach you will be asked for your routing number, account number, account type and bank name A. When all sections are completed click, Go to Next Step to proceed
10 9. Verify your personal information, enter Social Security Number or work ID, and work phone number Social Security Number is only required for payroll contributions A. When all sections are completed click, Go to Next Step to proceed
11 10. Choose your release of information preferences You can choose to release your contact information to the charities that you donated to or not Releasing information will allow charities to receive your name and the additional personal and home address that you enter You may also opt to release your donation amount or not You may also choose whether the CFC can contact you throughout the year
12 11. Search for charities If you know the 5 digit code for your preferred charity, you may type it into the search box If you do not know the charity code, search by keyword or charity name You may choose to donate to an undesignated fund which will disseminate your donation proportionately to charities associated with the CFC You may add as many charities as you would like to a single pledge For more directions on how to search charities please view our Charity Search Tutorial
13 12. Allocate Funds You are required to designate all funds The remaining balance must equal zero in order to complete your pledge A. To allocate equal amount to each charity, click the button that says, Distribute Allocation Remainder Evenly
14 13. Submit a digital signature and click, Complete this Pledge Move the cursor over the signature box, hold down the left click of your mouse, draw your signature and release left click
15 14. Pledge completion confirmation Once this screen appears you will receive a copy of your completed pledge to your government account
16 15. Review completed pledges To view your pledges hover over MY PLEDGES & PROFILE, and click MY PLEDGES All of your online pledges from 2013 to present will show To view pledge details click on the pledge number
