Advertising revenue grew 14% over the same period a year ago, driving 3% growth in Adjusted EBITDA. 3 PROGRAMMING celebrates Mother s Day with original movies dedicated to mothers everywhere Saturday, May 9th* and Sunday, May 1th* including the original movie premiere of Just The Way You Are, starring network favorite Candace Cameron Bure on May 9th. When a professional matchmaker's own marriage loses its spark, she seeks to recharge the relationship by asking her husband out on a blind date. As Mother's Day approaches and their romance starts to rekindle, she wonders if her careerdriven husband will finally learn to put his family's needs before his job. * Programming starts at 11am/1c The Heart of Mother s Day Mystery wheel premieres continue in May Led by a stellar cast featuring actress and TV Host Alison Sweeney, Cameron Mathison, and Barbara Niven, Murder, She Baked: A Chocolate Chip Cookie Mystery (May 2nd) centers on free spirit Hannah Swensen, an expert baker who becomes a culinary detective when her shop, the Cookie Jar, becomes the scene of a crime, just as she is caught in a romantic mystery of her own. The first in a three-part mystery movie series, Gourmet Detective (May 16th) stars Cedar Cove s Dylan Neal as a culinary whiz who uses his mastery of food, drink and cooking to solve crimes of the culinary world. 4 PROGRAMMING Home & Family, Wedding Special Crown Media Productions Recently, lifestyle expert, Paige Hemmis, and Australian musician, Jason Short, announced that they will get married on a very special episode of Home & Family. Paige is a special member of the family as a recurring expert on Home & Family where she shares her skills as a designer, home builder, and realtor. Jason is well-known for being a member of the popular Australian pop/opera music group, ARIA. He has also participated in productions of Les Misérables and 42nd Street. In the months leading up to the wedding, Home & Family will feature DIY wedding tips and projects to be incorporated into the wedding and help the couple get ready for the big day. Home & Family s Wedding Primetime Special airs June 22nd Crown Media Holdings, Inc. announced the creation of an in-house production company, Crown Media Productions, aimed at increasing the company s original content across multiple platforms. Producing up to six films in 215, all of which will be released under the banner of a Original or Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Original, Crown Media will be financing the new entity and retain all the distribution rights worldwide. The main benefits of Crown Media Productions include an increase of original content, ownership of all rights, more direct involvement in the creative process, and providing another avenue for increasing the Company s extensive film library. Crown Connectivity is a new division designed to create 36-degree seamless integration opportunities for advertisers across both networks linear, digital, and social media platforms. Crown Connectivity The inauguration of Crown Connectivity comes at the heels of the Company s recent full-scale redesigns of both networks consumer websites featuring more unique content. 215-to-date, online traffic has increased significantly with page views up 57%, unique visitors up 58%, and video views up 69% across Crown Media s web platforms. 5 RATINGS & SUBSCRIBERS Good Witch Season 1 Mystery Wheels premiere to record audiences s newest original series, Good Witch, premiered on February 28th to an astonishing 2.7 household rating with 45, women 25 to 54, the highest rated and most watched episode of any Hallmark Channel original series to date. Season one of Good Witch averaged a 2.1 household rating, making the second highest rated cable network on Saturday s 8pm time period. Averaging more than 2.2 million viewers, Good Witch becomes the most watched original series, further establishing our viewers commitment to Hallmark Channel s unique brand of original scripted series. A Bone to Pick: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery starring Full House s Candace Cameron-Bure as librarian Aurora Teagarden, premiered on April 4th to a.9 household rating with 111, Women 25-54, making it third highest non-holiday original movie premiere. Starring Lori Loughlin as Jennifer Shannon, Garage Sale Mystery: The Deadly Room premiered April 11th to a 1.4 household rating with over a million total viewers, becoming the most watched original movie premiere in network history.
