1. First install the software provided with your ACC1000 Control Panel Net727i software,701 Server software and

Connect a Crossover Cable from the control panel to the LAN Card on the computer you will be using for your system.

Next we will need to assign an IP address to the computer. Follow the steps below. Step 4: Open explorer, click My Network Places and press right key to open Properties. Step 5: Click Local Area Connection and press right key to open Properties. Then double click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) to open Properties. 3 Step 6: Change the IP address to above properties. Click ok to exit. Step 7: Open Net727i Software (Start Programs Eclipse Software Net727i )

Step 8: Click Get to get default Local IP Address, Gateway, Netmask and TCP Port. Step 9: You should see the computers information appear on the screen as above.

Step10: Press write and the system will download the information and show ready within 4-5 seconds. Now open the server software. Default user name and password is supervisor. Step11: Click Toolbar Icon to set up LAN Base. Server computer needs to know the type and the Node ID of controllers of the framework (LAN base). Select [ LAN BASE ] to ACC1000. *not shown above Select the Node ID that will be assigned to the controller. The computer can connect up to 255 sets of controllers. Click the [Show Range] drop down list to select the Node ID range. *The dip switch on the bottom right of the ACC controller should have dip switch 1 on and all other off for node 1 to be chosen. Click controller Node ID and select controller type from the drop down list. Choose ACC1000 here also. Add a check to the IP box and enter for the IP address. (this is the address to the ACC-1000 Controller. Enter port Press [ Yes ].

Step 12: Next click on selecting communication port: Communication port setting via com port or TCP/IP Check if the cable is well connected, and select Communication Port. Click on TCP / IP.

Click [ Polling Message From Controller ]. Select suitable [ Polling Interval ] to poll the messages from controller (recommended to set to 200ms). Press [ Yes ] and to save all the settings, the on the right down corner of the windows will flash that indicates in normal communication. The color of Server Icon indicates the status of communication. Red means TRANSMITTING. GREEN means RECEIVING. WHITE means IDLING. BROWN means COMMUNICATION ERROR.

You should see a Blue Y next to an ACC-1000 (001) The system has one ACC-1000 controller (Node ID 001). (1) White [? ] means devices ON or OFF not stable. (2) Blue [ Y ] means devices ON line. (3) Red [ X ] means devices OFF line. Click Exit to exit this sub-menu.

Before continuing make sure your readers have the proper nodes programmed. Each reader must have its own node address. Follow the instructions bellow to set the node ID for each reader. Click [ Read ] for only one controller; otherwise, fill up the Controller Number that designated, for example 001 & 002 indicates Controller 1 & Controller 2; then click [ Read ]. Step 16: On-line Reader Present select controller number. There are two Channels, Channel 1 & Channel 2, on the controller, each Channel can connect up to 8 readers. From above, for example, there are two readers connected to Channel 1 with Reader 001 & Reader 002, then click [ 001 ] & [ 002 ]. Remember to click [ Master Controller ] to prevent the system from On-line communicating badly, especially for more than one controller in the system. Press [ Write ]. You are finished with the initial communication aspect of the ACC-1000 system. You are now ready to begin the programming of your cards and readers.

9 Go back to step 13 as below. You should now have your ACC-1000 and readers in your Root. All readers and controllers should be blue and the server icon on the bottom right of your desktop should be blinking between green and white. Open your client software and begin your programming of the ACC-1000 and readers.
