Steps for Initial Login The first time you login to the Marketplace Portal you will use the temporary password received and complete the steps beginning on Page 2. 1 Page
2 1 Enter the applicable Portal link from a browser window. PROD Link: MTE Link: 2 Your browser automatically displays a Select a Certificate window. Select the applicable certificate to complete the first authentication of the two-step authentication process. Click the OK button. 3 Select the Sign In icon in the upper right corner of the Welcome screen currently displayed. 4 The LOGIN screen displays. Enter your Portal Login ID and temporary password in the appropriate fields. Click LOGIN to complete the authentication. 2 Page
3 After completing Step 4, two notification boxes will flash for a few seconds (in the upper right corner) with the messages, Authentication was successful, but password was a temp password and Redirecting to change password. 5 The CHANGE PASSWORD screen displays. Here you will populate the Login ID, Old Password, New Password and Confirm Password fields. amy@spp.org As you enter your new password, the Password Requirements to the right of the screen will turn green as each requirement is met. Password Requirements: Contain upper case letters [A-Z] Contain lower case letters [a-z] Contain digits [0-9] Contain special characters Be at least 8 characters in length Not match old password Match confirmation password 3 Page
4 6 Once all Password Requirements have been met, the SAVE button will enable. Click the SAVE button. Password MUST be changed every 90 days. A notification will be displayed starting at seven (7) days from expiration to change password. If you enter one of the fields incorrectly, a notification box will display in the upper right corner stating, Change Password Fail Bad Current User ID or Password. If you entered everything correctly, two notification boxes will display in the upper right corner stating, Change Password Successful and Redirecting to Login. The message will only display for a few seconds and then you will be redirected back to the Login screen. 4 Page
5 7 The LOGIN screen of the Portal displays. At this time, you must sign in again with your new password. Enter your Login ID and newly created Password. Click the LOGIN button. After completing Step 7, two notification boxes will flash for a few seconds (in the upper right corner) with the messages, Login successful, but challenge questions are not configured. and Redirecting to answer challenge questions 5 Page
6 8 The ANSWER CHALLENGE QUESTIONS screen displays. Select three (3) unique questions and provide answers. Click the SAVE button. Challenge Questions MUST be setup in order to use the Forgot Password reset option. 9 On the first login only, a Terms and Conditions page will display. Click the Accept Terms of Use button at the bottom of the page. 10 After logging in, the Change Password and Answer Challenge Questions will be available under Menu>My Account. 6 Page
