3 New Login Screen What s New? The yellow Sign Up button will allow members to complete their AlwaysAssist account registration process within the mobile app. Registration Process Notes: The registration process is a 4-step process. It is the same process the member can perform on the AlwaysAssist.com Member Portal website if they prefer using a computer to register for their AlwaysAssist member account. A dependent over the age of 18 can register for their own AlwaysAssist account either through the mobile app or the AlwaysAssist.com Member Portal website. Members age 18 or older can register for their AlwaysAssist account 3 ways: 1. Member ID (Member may not know their member ID) 2. Individual Policy Number (Member may not know their policy number) 3. Primary Insured s Social Security Number (Recommended method for registering) Tap the Sign Up button to begin step 1 of 4 in the registration process. Tap the Primary Insured s Social Security Number option. Then tap Next to begin step 2 in the registration process. Fill out all required fields. Then tap Next to begin step 3 in the registration process. Choose the desired security question and enter the desired answer into the box provided. Then tap Next to begin step 4 in the registration process. Enter all required fields in the boxes provided then tap Submit. The member will receive an confirming their registration is complete. The member can then login to the app. 3

4 Forgot Password: Members can perform all of the Forgot password steps to reset their AlwaysAssist member account password within the mobile app, without being re-directed to the AlwaysAssist.com Member Portal website. Tap Forgot password? to begin the password reset steps. Enter desired Username in the box provided. Then tap Next to begin step 2 to reset password. Enter security question answer in the box provided. Then tap Next to continue to reset password. Password Request Successful: Members will receive a message in the mobile app confirming the password reset was successful. Members will also receive an at the address on file confirming there was a password reset action performed for their AlwaysAssist account. The will include a temporary password the member can use to login to the app. Sample Password Reset Confirmation < Temporary Password Tap Return to Login button to return to mobile app login screen. Enter Username into the Username box, and enter the Temporary Password from the into the Password box. Then tap Login. 4

5 After completing the reset password steps and logging into the mobile app using the temporary password, the member will immediately be redirected to the new My Account page to change the temporary password to their desired AlwaysAssist account password. Enter temporary password into the Current Password box. Enter desired password into both the New Password box and the Confirm New Password box. Then tap Save Password to confirm the password change. The member will receive a confirmation at the address on file confirming the change to their AlwaysAssist password. 5

6 Home Screen What s New? My Benefits button My Claims button My Account button Menu Drop-down List Notes: The member can choose to return to the home screen from any mobile app page by tapping the Menu button and choosing Home from the menu drop-down list. The member can navigate to the My Account page to update their address, password, or security question by choosing the My Account option from the menu drop-down list. They can also access the My Account page from the home screen. Members can choose the About AlwaysCare option from the menu drop-down list to read additional information about the company. Members can choose the Terms of Service option from the menu drop-down list to read the terms of service for the mobile app. Newly registered mobile app users will be prompted to accept the terms of service upon logging into the mobile app the first time. The last option in the drop-down list, is the Logout button. The member can logout of the app by tapping the Logout button in the menu drop-down list. If the member logs out of the mobile app, they will need to log back into the mobile app the next time they open it. If the member is logged into the mobile app and closes the app without logging out, they will remain logged into the app until their 24 hour authentication token expires. Then members must login to the app again the next time they open it. Tap the Menu button in the top right corner of the app to view the available options in menu dropdown list. Tap the Menu button again to close the Menu to view the full home screen again. 6

7 ID Cards Members can access their dental and/or vision ID cards by tapping either the Dental ID Card or Vision ID Card button on the home screen. ID Card Notes: Members have the option to send their ID card via or fax, making it easy to share with family members and providers. 7

8 Provider Search Members can locate dental and/or vision providers by tapping either the Search Dental Providers or Search Vision Providers button on the home screen. Provider Search Notes: Members can choose from three search methods: by current location, by registered address, or by zip code. In the search results, tap a provider listing to instantly generate a map. Members can also tap the Click to call button to schedule an appointment or contact the selected provider. 9 My Benefits This is a new feature in the mobile app. Tap the My Benefits button on the home screen to open the new My Benefits page. Tap the drop-down arrow to choose the member for which you would like to view benefits. Tap the drop-down arrow to choose the benefit you would like to view for the selected member. Tap the Benefits button to send a copy of the benefit summary for the coverage you are viewing (either dental or vision) to the address on file. 9

10 Member Benefits Notes: The member can view their benefit information from this screen. If the member has dependents, they can view the dependents benefit information from this screen. - Members will only see underage dependent information. - If a member has coverage for a dependent over the age of 18, the overage dependent must grant access for the subscriber to view their benefits from within the AlwaysAssist.com website. (This cannot be performed within the mobile app at this time.) Registered dependents can download their own mobile app and use their AlwaysAssist account login information to view their benefits and perform other functions within their mobile app. If a member has dental coverage, their Plan Information & Claims box will default to dental, even if they have dental and vision. If they do not have dental but have vision, then their Plan Information & Claims box will default to vision. 11 My Claims This is a new feature in the mobile app. Tap the drop-down arrow to choose the member who s claims you would like to view. Tap the drop-down arrow to choose the benefit coverage you would like to view for the selected member. Tap the EOB button next to a claim to send a copy of the EOB to the address on file. Once an EOB is selected, you will see the message, ing EOB to address on file. You will receive a confirmation message once the EOB is sent. 11

13 My Account This is a new feature in the mobile app. Tap the Change button to open the Change screen to perform steps to update your AlwaysAssist account address. Tap the Change Password button to open the Change Password screen to perform steps to update your AlwaysAssist account password. Tap the Change Security Question button to open the Change Security Question screen to perform steps to update your AlwaysAssist account security question and security question answer. Change Screen: After entering in the desired address in both the New box and the Confirm New box, tap the Save button. The member will receive a confirmation at both the new and the old addresses informing them that their AlwaysAssist account address has been changed. 13

14 Change Password Screen: Enter the current password into the Current Password box. Enter desired password into both the New Password box and the Confirm New Password box. Then tap Save Password to confirm the password change. The member will receive a confirmation at the addresses on file informing them that their AlwaysAssist account password has been changed. Change Security Question Screen: Tap the drop-down arrow to choose the desired security question from the New Security Question drop-down list. Type the desired security question answer into the New Security Answer box. Then tap the Save Question button. The member will receive a confirmation at the addresses on file informing them that their AlwaysAssist account security question has been changed. 14
