3 1 Introduction 1.1 Background Hill s Pet Nutrition Admin Center is a tool that is used to maintain information about User and Dealer Profiles. With proper credentials: Administrator access can be granted Dealer Profiles can be added, modified or deleted User Profiles can be modified Passwords can be reset or changed 1.2 User Types/Roles Supervisor, Consumer Management and/or Dealer Management will have access to different areas of the site. Navigate to Hill s Pet Nutrition Admin Center Homepage. 2. Click the Sign In link that resides in the top right corner of the webpage (Figure 1: ). Version 1.0 Page 3
4 Figure 1: Sign In - General 3. Once you have clicked Sign In, you will be redirected to the Hills Pet site to login (Figure 2: ). Figure 2: Sign In Enter Credentials 4. Login to the Hills Pet site with your Administrator credentials. Once you have entered the correct credentials, you will be logged in to the site. 5. Error Logging In a. If you are experiencing difficulty logging in, please check your username and password. If you have exhausted all efforts, please contact your Help Desk Center. b. Error Message: We re sorry. The information you entered does not match our records. Please check your log in information and try again 6. Navigate back to the Admin Center Homepage (Figure 3: ) to get started. Your credentials will be remembered, so you will not have to re-enter these at this time. Figure 3: Navigate to Admin Center 7. Click Welcome from the Left Navigation, you will see the below information (Figure 4: ). Version 1.0 Page 4
5 Figure 4: Signed In Welcome Page Sign Out 1. To Sign Out of the session, please click the Sign Out link that resides in the top right corner of the webpage (Figure 5: ). Figure 5: Sign Out - General 2. Once you have clicked Sign Out, a dialog box (Figure 6: ) will display with the option to Cancel (Stay Signed In) or OK (Continue to End Session). Figure 6: Sign Out End Session Role Navigation 1. With the proper permissions, an Administrator can click on the roles that reside in the Left Navigation (Figure 7: ). Version 1.0 Page 5
6 Figure 7: Signed In Left Navigation View 2. The Roles (Left Navigation) can be used to access different areas of the site. If the Administrator does not have access to a role, they will be redirected to an Access Denied page (Figure 8: ). For information on permissions, please see section 1.2. Figure 8: Access Denied Role Selection 3. Supervisor s can grant access to the individual roles. For information about roles and what can be selected, please see section 2.1. Version 1.0 Page 6
7 2 Supervisor Role 2.1 Description The Supervisor section is available only to Administrators that have Supervisor Admin Profile checked in the Access Form. Supervisors have all of the permissions necessary to make any changes in to the Admin Center or User Profile. The role of Supervisor is automatically granted CS Admin Profile rights. If a Supervisor Admin would like access to the Dealer Admin Profile, the box would have to be selected for that particular user. If another Administrator needs Supervisor Access, any other Supervisor can grant this. Supervisors are unable to select all three roles for one particular user, but can select the following combinations: Supervisor Supervisor & Dealer Admin Profile CS Admin Profile CS Admin Profile & Dealer Admin Profile Dealer Admin Profile Edit Access 1. To Sign In, please refer to section After Sign In, navigate back to the Admin Center Homepage. 3. From the Left Navigation, click Supervisor (Figure 9: ). 8 4. Enter the User s address and click Search (Figure 10: ). Figure 10: Edit Access Form Enter 5. Error Typing in the User s a. If you are experiencing difficulty finding a particular user, please ensure you have the correct format (name@domain.com) entered. After you have exhausted all efforts, and the User s Address is still not found, then it does not exist in the system. 6. A new page will display with Edit the User s information. You may update access from here (Figure 11: ). Please review permissions to ensure you select the correct role. Figure 11: Edit Access Form Select Role 7. Click Save once you have made your selections. If you need to edit another user, please see Step To Sign Out, please refer to section Version 1.0 Page 8
9 3 Consumer Management Role 3.1 Description The Consumer Management section is available only to Administrators that have CS Admin Profile or Supervisor Admin Profile checked in the Access Form. Consumer Management has all permissions necessary to make changes to User Profiles. They can also Reset or Change Passwords. Consumer Management is unable to edit Supervisors User Profile or Password information. Note: Please only Change Password when the user is unable to access their account that is associated with the user profile. Change Password requires manual entry of the password by the Administrator. This is not the preferred method. Use Reset Password whenever possible over Change Password Find Account 1. To Sign In, please refer to section After Sign In, navigate back to the Admin Center Homepage. 3. From the Left Navigation, click Consumer Management (Figure 12: ). Find Account will automatically be displayed in bold. Figure 12: Find Account Form - Search 4. Enter in the search criteria. Search by one or more fields and click Search. If you need more information before selecting the Region, click the More Information hyperlink. a. Region is not a required field, but you must fill out at least one of the following fields to continue: First Name, Last Name or . Version 1.0 Page 9
10 5. Search Results will show all of the matches from the criteria entered. If you need to edit the user profile, continue to Edit Profile Edit User Profile 1. To Sign In, please refer to section After Sign In, navigate back to the Admin Center Homepage. 3. From the Left Navigation, click Consumer Management (Figure 13: ). Find Account will automatically be displayed and in bold. Click on Change Password which resides under Find Account. Figure 13: Find Account Form - Search 4. Enter in the search criteria. You may search by one or more fields; once complete, click Search. If you need more information before selecting the Region, click More Information hyperlink. a. Region is not a required field, but you must fill out at least one of the following fields to continue: First Name, Last Name or Search Results will show all of the matches from the criteria entered. Click on the link to modify the selected profile (Figure 14: ). Version 1.0 Page 10
11 Figure 14: Find Account Form Select Profile 6. The Edit User Profile form (Figure 15: ) will be displayed with the ability to modify all fields. After the form modifications have been made, you must confirm the address for the user before continuing. When complete, click Save. 7. Error Editing User Profile a. If you are experiencing difficulty editing a particular user, please ensure you have entered required fields (*) and confirmed the address. After you have exhausted all efforts, and still having issues, navigate away from this page by Signing Out. You can follow the instructions on how to do this in section After you have Signed In, please see section to Edit User Profile. Version 1.0 Page 11
12 Figure 15: Edit User Profile Form - Modify 8. The page reloads to Find Account form. The user s profile has been updated. If you need to edit another profile, please see Step 1 of this section. 9. To Sign Out, please refer to section Reset Password (Preferred Method) 1. To Sign In, please refer to section After Sign In, navigate back to the Admin Center Homepage. 3. From the Left Navigation, click Consumer Management, then Change Password 4. Enter user s into the field provided and click Search (Figure 16: ) Version 1.0 Page 12
13 Figure 16: Change Password Form - Search 5. The contact information will appear for verification. Click the Send a new password button to reset a password (Figure 17: ). This will generate and send the new password to the user s address that is on file. Figure 17: Reset Password Form Send a new password 6. The confirmation of Password Reset will display a Success window. Click OK (Figure 18: ). Version 1.0 Page 13

You can navigate away from this page by clicking on Consumer Management, Find Account or Change Password (Figure 19: ). Or if you have access to another area, you may select that instead. From the Left Navigation, click Consumer Management, then Change Password 4. Enter user s into the field provided and click Search (Figure 20: ) Version 1.0 Page 14
15 Figure 20: Change Password Form - Search 5. The contact information will appear for verification. Enter New Password and Confirm New Password (Figure 20: ). Click Save. 17 4 Dealer Management Role 4.1 Description The Dealer Management section is available only to Administrators that have Dealer Admin Profile or Supervisor Admin Profile checked in the Access Form. Dealer Management has all permissions necessary to Find, Update or Add a Dealer Find Dealer 1. To Sign In, please refer to section After Sign In, navigate back to the Admin Center Homepage. 3. From the Left Navigation, click Dealer Management (Figure 23: ). The Find Dealer will automatically be displayed and in bold. Figure 23: Find Dealer Form - Search 4. Enter at least one field and click Search. The results will be displayed beneath the Search criteria. Select the correct Dealer that you would like to view by clicking the SAP ID (Figure 24: ). 18 Figure 24: Find Dealer Form Results 5. To Sign Out, please refer to section Edit Dealer Profile 1. To Sign In, please refer to section After Sign In, navigate back to the Admin Center Homepage. 3. From the Left Navigation, click Dealer Management (Figure 25: ). The Find Dealer will automatically be displayed and in bold. Figure 25: Find Dealer Form - Search Version 1.0 Page 18
19 4. Enter at least one field and click Search. The results will be displayed beneath the Search criteria (Figure 26: ). Select the correct Dealer that you would like to view by clicking the SAP ID. Figure 26: Find Dealer Form Results 5. You may edit information from the Edit Dealer Profile form. If you need to make changes to the Dealer information from this form. You can also select Cancel to exit this form. Once you have made all of your changes, click Update (Figure 27: ). a. To override the Hill s Account Number (SAP ID), please see section for detailed instructions. b. To override Latitude or Longitude, please see section for detailed instructions. Version 1.0 Page 19

21 Override Hill s Account Number (SAP ID) 1. Continued from section From the Edit Dealer Profile form, you can change the SAP ID by selecting Override SAP number box (Figure 29: ). Once you click this, the field will be editable. Figure 29: Override SAP number Checkbox 3. Enter the new Hill s Account Number (SAP ID) in the field (Figure 30: ). If nothing else needs to be updated at this time, click Update. Otherwise, you can continue updating the form as needed. Version 1.0 Page 21
22 Figure 30: Edit Dealer Profile Form - Update 4. If you Update the form and receive an error (Figure 31: ), it could be due to a duplicate entry in the system. The Hill s Account Number (SAP ID) is unique. Please follow currant process to generate a new SAP ID that can be entered into this form. Figure 31: Example Error Update 5. After the SAP ID has been updated, you will receive a confirmation window, shown below (Figure 32: ). Version 1.0 Page 22
23 Figure 32: Dealer Profile Updated - Success 6. To Sign Out, please refer to section Override Latitude and Longitude 1. Continued from section From the Edit Dealer Profile form, you can change the Latitude and Longitude by selecting Override Latitude and Longitude box (Figure 33: ). Once you click this, the field will be editable. Figure 33: Override Box - Checked 3. Enter the new Latitude and Longitude in the field (Figure 34: ). If nothing else needs to be updated at this time, click Update. Otherwise, you can continue updating the form as needed. Figure 34: Override Latitude and Longitude Checkbox Version 1.0 Page 23
24 4. After the Latitude and Longitude has been updated, you will receive a confirmation window, shown below (Figure 35: ). Figure 35: Dealer Profile Updated - Success 5. To Sign Out, please refer to section Add Dealer 1. To Sign In, please refer to section After Sign In, navigate back to the Admin Center Homepage. 3. Before adding a Dealer, search to ensure the Dealer hasn t already been entered. 4. From the Left Navigation, click Dealer Management, then Add Dealer (Figure 36: ). Version 1.0 Page 24
25 Figure 36: Add Dealer Form - Update 5. Enter the required * and any additional information that relates to the Dealer. After you complete the form, click Update. Click Cancel if you do not need to add another Dealer. 6. After you have entered all the correct information for the new Dealer, a confirmation window will be displayed (Figure 37: ) Figure 37: Dealer Added - Success 7. 26 4.1.4 Delete Dealer Note: Before you Delete Dealer, please be sure that it needs to be deleted. Once the Delete button is clicked, the Dealer Profile is deleted. There is no warning message asking if you are sure you would like to delete. 1. Login to the Admin Center with your username ( ) and password 2. From the Left Navigation, click Dealer Management (Figure 38: ). The Find Dealer will automatically be displayed and in bold. Figure 38: Find Dealer Form - Search 3. Enter at least one field and click Search. The results will be displayed beneath the Search criteria (Figure 39: ). Version 1.0 Page 26

You may edit or delete information from the Edit Dealer Profile form (Figure 41: ). From this form, you can make changes to the SAP ID, address or any other piece of information. Version 1.0 Page 27
